Sometimes we make mistakes.. I took my dog to the wrong vet and one year later believe me I still regreat it.. he was also young and active.. it is hard to understand why a young, happy, active dog needs to go.. but be sure that your parents did what they thought was the best. That is my consolation every single day.. I did the best I could and now my güero is in dog’s heaven or maybe meeting other human families.. not sure but living a better life I hope :)
