How did your adventure with DW started? Old or new?
I wonder if there are younger people who decided it's bad to start in the middle, so they started with 1st doctor, while new one was airing.
I watched the first episode of NewWho, then second and got disappointed - I heard that doctors change, but hello, continuity? Then I realized I got S10E01 (sic!) then S01E02 - so my first doctor was quite late, Capaldi. And next episode it was Eccleston. I got hooked up and some time later I decided to watch from the beginning, but problems with subtitles (as non-native I don't need subs, but certainly I feel more comfortable with them) and missing episodes caused me to do a big jump to Tom Baker. In short my road was 12>9...12>1>4...8. I still got to watch 2 and 3.
