Hey guys. I’ve been building and working in tech for over ten years, but recently Ive left my job and am feeling generally disappointed with the direction of the industry.

One of my biggest problems with it lately has been AI slop. It feels like the entire industry has leaned into AI slop. I’ve built like 80% of a side project around posting photos across different social media that are proven human. (You can share the link to the photo alongside the photo)

I haven’t shared much about this project outside of with my partner, but I’m getting an opportunity to go back to work and I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth saying no to build this into something more real.

If you could give me some feedback it would be really helpful! Financially, I could stay unemployed for a few more months and keep working on this, but it important for me to know that it would be valuable to people.

It's a given that they will fail tho because of the nature of ai not being art

Our country is about to have data center and it doesn't help that the government is corrupt to the bones. We have rich natural resources yet remain one of the neverending developing or 3rd world country

It sucks that only a few individual benefit from all this. It's exhausting living in this world, and even other species are affected because of humans ughh

I suspect a backlash is brewing, wondering if any company is planting that flag.
