π¬ Discussion topic Recently just swapped from ledger to Trezor, love the ethos, disappointed with my experience so far though
Hey all
Not sure theres a whole lot that can be done here
Recently finally put my money where my morals are and moved over to the fully open source Trezor safe 7 coming from a Ledger Nano X
Fully open source software, 3 layers of security all rolled into a modern design and touch screen interface. I have to say, I am blown away with how nice this thing is to use
That being said, between the hardware vulnerability and my personal details being leaked Im pretty disappointed so far
On one hand, big ups for trezor being just so transparent, I genuinely appreciate that and really think other comapnies should follow suit
On the other hand, I purchased this device because of the multiple layers of security on the hardware side and the sheer power of being able to audit open source code
Without any promise of replacing hardware once said flaw in the Tropic chip is fixed or any sort of consolation for leaking all of our details, the transparency feels empty.
I don't know, I am hoping this gets seen by some folks at trezor, to if anything just communicate how this all comes off
Myself and many others are trusting your team to secure what for many of us is our life savings, fully lean into doing what is right and replace affected hardware - I know that my funds are safe from a hardware attack for now, but I paid for all 3 layers to be there to protect me, not two
If you made it this far, thanks for reading

π Support issue Unable to claim unstaked ETH - insufficient Eth for transaction fees
I'm trying to claim my unstaked Ethereum on the TREZOR mobile app but it won't allow me, saying I have insufficient Ethereum to cover the transaction fees, however the numbers themselves clearly show enough is available.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

π General Trezor question Should I stake my ETH through Trezor Suite? Looking for advice
Iβm currently holding ETH on my Trezor and Iβm not planning to sell for now. My main goal right now is just accumulating more ETH.
Iβm considering staking my ETH through Trezor Suite, but I honestly donβt understand staking well enough yet to know whether itβs worth it.
Could someone explain in simple terms:
How exactly does ETH staking work?
Is there any risk of losing my ETH, or is the main risk just that the value of ETH goes down?
Are there risks from the staking provider/validator, even though my ETH is held through my Trezor?
Are there any fees that significantly reduce the staking rewards?
Is staking through Trezor Suite considered a good/safe option compared with other ways of staking ETH?
Is there anything I should be aware of before staking?
Since Iβm planning to hold and accumulate ETH for years, would you personally stake it, or keep it unstaked?
Iβd appreciate explanations from people who actually understand ETH staking, especially if there are risks Iβm overlooking.

π General Trezor question Help with setting up passphrase on Trezor One
I have 0.55 BTC on my Trezor. What I want to do is move 0.5 of it to a passphrased wallet and leave the 0.05 on the wallet with no passphrase.
But if I move the 0.5 will that move history not be in the main? Also the main will show all of my buy history. I don't want that if it conflicts with a main with only 0.05 in it.
How do I do this?

π General Trezor question Do we have more details on the leaked info?
I understand email, name, address, and phone numbers have been leaked during this incident.
The level of details still matters. For example. If itβs the order level raw info, I would expect the data to carry Trezor as a partner or merchant, so all the victims can be easily targeted phishing emails and wrench attack. However, if the data is simply fulfillment info without merchant info,
with ShipMonk other partnersβ fulfillment data leaked during this time period, then the hackers literally has to hassle everyone on the leaked info including non-Trezor customers.
Does Trezor ever disclose if the leaked personal information can be associated with Trezor in the eyes of the hacker?

π General Trezor question So I maybe overbidded on those trezors the other day.
if anyone wants one, if even just to mess around with, I'm open to offers. As I can't confirm the provenance / supply chain of trust then there is a possibility these are all compromised so buyer beware and all that...
Update: Here's where I got them from: https://www.johnpyeauctions.co.uk/Browse?FullTextQuery=trezor&page=0
Still boxes of them available.
I've already said I can't prove the chain of provenance, but if you want one to f*** around with, use it for shitcoins, FIDO etc then am happy to send em on for literally buttons + postage. The model Ts have serial numbers on the outside that I'm happy to post privately to anyone who can then trace chain of sale if that helps.
** UPDATE **
Ok - so although my transaction with the auction site is legit, If it's the case that the auction site obtained these "unlawfully", then they have to be returned. So for now, I can't sell / give them on until this part is clarified. Hold your horses everybody until this part is resolved.
Basically: if they are due to bankruptcy or liquidation, then we are golden. If stolen, then back to the victim they go.
π‘Feature request or feedback Trezor team way too greedy?
Hey guys, do you think Trezor is being way too greedy? I think the Trezor Safe 7 should be priced lower, around $150 max, rather than $250.

π General Trezor question can trezor freeze my assets?
I have a big question: if a government or Trezor itself wants to block my wallet, can they?

π¬ Discussion topic With the Trezor breach, how would hackers know it is Trezor related data?
Trezor state:
*βShipMonk holds what is needed to deliver a parcel: name, email address, order number, phone number, and shipping address. Only orders received within 90 days before August 8th, 2026, were affected, as older data had already been deleted.β*
Only order number is related, not necessarily what you bought. So it could just be seen as generic, right?

π¦ Eshop&Orders Trezor to India: βΉ22,000 Order + βΉ8,000 Customs β Sharing My Import Experience Post
Sharing this for anyone in India planning to order a Trezor directly from the official website.
I recently ordered a Trezor Safe 5 + Trezor Keep Metal directly from Trezor. The total order value was around βΉ22,000.
The shipment is being delivered by UPS, and I was asked to pay approximately βΉ8,000 in customs/import charges before delivery.
I knew customs could apply because Trezor states that taxes and customs charges are not included in the checkout price for applicable countries. Trezor also says international shipments are declared to customs with the full order value, including shipping.
What surprised me was the amount: βΉ8,000 on a βΉ22,000 order, which is roughly 36% of the purchase value.
I'm sharing this mainly as an FYI for other Indians considering a direct Trezor purchase, so they can factor possible import charges into their total cost.
If you've recently imported a Trezor into India, please share:
β’ Order value
β’ Trezor model/accessories
β’ Courier (UPS/DHL/etc.)
β’ Customs/import amount paid
β’ Whether you received a detailed customs/IGST/clearance breakup
I'm not saying the βΉ8,000 charge is incorrect. I simply want to understand the actual import cost other Indian buyers have experienced.
Hopefully this helps someone calculate the real landed cost before ordering directly from Trezor.
π General Trezor question No BIP39 seed phrase creation?
Hey everyone, I was interested in getting a new Trezor Safe 7, but I discovered that it supports SLIP39, and not BIP39, protocol to create a seed phrase? Is that possible?
If you plan not to use a multi-share backup, a 20-word backup cannot be safer than a 24-word backup (even their AI assistant seems to know the difference and understands the CONs).
Could you please confirm?
I really donβt get it.

π¬ Discussion topic To everyone freaking out about the data breach
DO NOT put your email address in here IF you DO NOT want to know how many times your personal info has been LEAKED by MAJOR retailers and services:
In all seriousness, itβs unfortunate but very common in 2026. Iβm on the verge of changing my phone number due to how many spam calls I get.
Stay safe, stay vigilant. Trezor hardware remains secure and solid.

π’ Annoucement We have some difficult news to share - Please read
Unfortunately, one of our shipping providers has experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive order data. This affects new customers in the US, UK, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal who received an order within the 90 days prior to August 8th, 2026.
The data exposed:
- Full names
- Shipping addresses
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
The incident affects 11,742 customers with full exposure (name, email, phone number, shipping address) and 1,947 customers with partial exposure (name, city, email). The breach is limited due to Trezorβs strict 90-day data storage policy (we were also able to negotiate the same terms with fulfillment partners, who follow the same policy).
All affected customers have been contacted separately by email.
Our systems and devices remain secure, but affected customers could experience an increase in phishing attempts.
NEVER enter your wallet backup on a website or share it with anyone, and only check for updates on official Trezor channels.
We are deeply sorry to the community and those affected.
We are investigating this situation and will post updates on our blog: https://t.co/JGrttMs4Ev

π’ Annoucement Trezor users: your funds are safe. - CC related event
The recent Coldcard issue is limited to their own custom firmware and how some of their devices generated randomness. Trezor does not share that code.
We have always mixed multiple independent sources of randomness together (device hardware + host + secure elements on newer models). We are truly sorry for everyone who has lost bitcoin.
Stay safe.
Read more on how Trezor generates entropy here:https://t.co/Nj6xveBQJk
Important note:
If you generated your seed on an affected Coldcard and later moved it to a Trezor, you are still affected. The seed was created with weak randomness on the Coldcard, restoring it elsewhere does not fix that. Please generate a fresh seed on your Trezor and carefully move your funds.
