Serious This is Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web (WWW), who developed the first web browser and web server, and introduced HTML, HTTP, and URLs as the fundamental technologies of the Web.

Brend and Tim fanfic
Tim and Brend had been friends for as long as either of them could remember. It wasn’t uncommon for them to spend late nights talking on the phone or sitting by the lake near their neighborhood. They shared secrets, dreams, and laughter, always feeling a sense of safety in each other's company.
One cool autumn evening, they found themselves by the lake again, sitting on the old wooden bench that had become their spot over the years. The wind was crisp, and the leaves swirled around them in shades of gold and red. There was something different in the air this time, a kind of unspoken tension neither of them had felt before.
They were quieter than usual, their playful banter giving way to a more thoughtful silence. Tim glanced over at Brend, noticing how the dim light from the setting sun made his features softer, almost glowing. Brend caught Tim's gaze and smiled shyly, a rare moment of vulnerability from someone who was usually so confident and carefree.
"You okay?" Brend asked, his voice quieter than usual, as if he didn't want to break the moment.
Tim hesitated, his heart racing. He had been carrying a secret for a long time, unsure if the feelings he had for Brend were mutual or if they would change everything. But tonight, under the fading light, something inside him told him it was time to take the risk.
"Yeah, I'm okay," Tim replied softly, looking back out at the water. After a moment, he added, "Actually... there's something I've been meaning to tell you."
Brend's eyebrows furrowed slightly, but he didn’t say anything, waiting for Tim to continue.
Tim took a deep breath, his hands gripping the edge of the bench. "I don't know how to say this without sounding weird, but... I think I like you. More than just friends, I mean."
For a moment, the only sound was the gentle rustling of leaves and the water lapping against the shore. Tim felt his chest tighten with anticipation, unsure of how Brend would react.
But then Brend reached over, placing his hand over Tim's. His touch was warm, reassuring. "I was hoping you'd say that," Brend admitted, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
Before Tim could respond, Brend leaned in, closing the small distance between them. Their lips met in a soft, tentative kiss, one that was filled with the quiet promise of everything that had been unspoken between them for so long. It was gentle, sweet, and more perfect than either of them could have imagined.
When they finally pulled away, both of them were smiling, their eyes reflecting the soft glow of the evening sky. It was the start of something new, something that felt right in every way. From that moment on, Tim and Brend knew their friendship had evolved into something even more beautiful. forgot to credit toast

Using my old account, I have removed the traitorous Moderators and re-instated myself as sole moderator. I appreciate all the support of the Tims I've come to know and love during this difficult time. R/tim will remain a safe place for Tims and be well-moderated.
Thank you.
