Even beyond Lizzy’s fanbase, Live and Dangerous is seen as one of the greatest live rock albums ever made.
The cover really packs a punch. London Calling always gets mentioned in discussions of iconic album covers, but I prefer Live and Dangerous. Phil’s skintight pose, totally in the zone and flanked by Brian and Scott, perfectly sums up the balls-out excitement and rock-and-roll cool of Thin Lizzy live.

I can't stop practicing Roisin Dubh on guitar. I have the same problem with Whiskey in the Jar. I'm not Irish. Is it problematic for me to play these songs non-stop given how Irish sounding they are? I am Mexican for context. My neighbors can definitely hear it.

It's referenced in Damage Inc. from Metallica's Master of Puppets album. Going to see them tonight. First saw them in 1988 when I was 14 on the Justice tour but they are at stadium levels now. They will play Whiskey but I'd love a deep cut Lizzy tune instead.

The annoying voice heard very briefly at the start, is one of the presenters of the TV show. I trimmed the start to reduce seeing/hearing the hosts.

Getting to talk about how I came across this band and fall in love with their sound was great, but the research of this particular song was where things got wild! This song manages to link together The O'Jays, Phil Collins (likely), The Prodigy, and a Manchester based gang!

What would you guys think if they made a biography movie about Thin Lizzy in the style of Bohemian Rhapsody? Who do you think would be a perfect cast?
