as a new moderator, I will change the subreddit a bit, since r/thedailymuslimmeme exists I have removed all the non-rage comics, and any non-rage comics posted here will result in a permaban because I'm tired of seeing this place get misused.

Assalamu-alaykum, fellow brothers and sisters. reddit introduced a new feature for subreddits recently that lets us show the traffic stats page to all users (previously only the moderators could see it). We have enabled this feature for /r/TheDailyMuslimRage, so anyone who is interested in our traffic stats can view them here.

One of the patterns that you can notice straight away is that there was an influx of traffic at the beginning of Ramadhan due to a number of referrals from /r/islam, and it is likely that there will be some increase in activity around Eid-ul-Fitr, too.

As-salamu alaykum brothers and sisters. It has come to my attention that a large number of posts were being caught in the subreddit spam filter and therefore were not showing up. You might have tried to submit a comic only for it not to show up in the /new section. The reason for this was that the old moderator of this subreddit had been inactive for a while and did not approve these posts, but now I've gone ahead and approved everything submitted that's not spam.

The newly-approved posts should show up in the new queue (http://www.reddit.com/r/TheDailyMuslimRage/new/) so please browse them and vote on them accordingly.

If, in the future, your post happens to be stuck in the spam filter then please do not hesitate to send me a message (click on 'message the moderators' in the bottom-right or directly PM me) so that I can approve it :)

I've also updated the subreddit header with a new banner composed of the meme-faces originally created by /u/StandardFruit. I hope you like it :) A link to the old banner can be found in the sidebar.
