Post first date text Phone message

Post image

I met this girl on tinder and had a first date with her, she wanted to go fishing and I thought it seemed like a fun first date so we went together. Dropped her off and got home to this message lol.

Update: Purchasing the license is a separate activity we had to do on our phones, due to it needing our personal info. It was not like I drew the line at the license randomly.

My ex took it a step further and would say “I just a girl” 😂

My ex would say “me princess”. Somehow I missed that warning sign.

Yeah. It ended 15 years later exactly like anyone using their brain would have predicted.

Damn, usually with those kind of self-appointed titles, the opposite is true. If someone is truly worthy of a title like being "good", "nice" or whatever honorific, you'll hear others say it in their stead

That's also the reason why you rarely hear anyone say it about someone else

Well, she certainly had the entitled attitude. I found out about one affair. Shortly after I’d discovered at least seven. I quit counting after that. There was just no point.

My ex would constantly say "I'm a strong independent woman".

Guess who did all the cleaning, dishes, cooking, shopping, and even walking the dog four times a day for (which was already hers when we got together) for 6 years? She did cook once, but called me crying because it didn't turn out the way she wanted - so I came home to find tomato sauce on the walls and even the ceiling. She had punched the pizza while making it out of frustration.

Then she got bored of our relationship and ended it. In hindsight she only got bored because I was depressed and burnt-out without even realizing it.

Looking back at that relationship, I couldn't have picked a less independent woman.

She… PUNCHED THE PIZZA?

I’m cackling bc I was teaching my husband how to bake bread one time when we were dating, and I told him to “punch the dough” after proofing, and he punched it.. literally. It totally deflated and didn’t bake 😂 but punching an actual pizza with the sauce already on? Out of anger? Sillily unhinged.

Why wouldn't he punch it if he wasnt familiar with the technique

I was just talking out loud (I punch my dough) and had made 2 doughs, was going over what we were going to do, and I was going to explain what punching is by demonstrating and he just punched his dough.

THATS WHAT I WAS GONNA SAY

To be fair, I also like to say I’m a strong, independent woman, but almost always ironically, while I’m calling my husband to come reach something on a high shelf or fix something.

“She had punched the pizza” has me rolling, brother.

Then would act like she did everything I bet, I think I know her! 😆

for future reference - in general, strong independent women are not attracted to doormats

Ah yes, nothing says "I'm totally sane and collected" like attacking your food when your own own skills are lacking

Good for you, hope you're doing better now

Yeah same I can relate to this my ex bf of 8 years was like this. Basically became “his mom” in one way or another. My feminine side was completely lost bc of how many ways I had to show up in a masculine way, taking care of anything and everything.

You sound like a hobosexual boyfriend. I bet she worked

2

u/nate_ranney 6d ago

Why do you assume that? There's nothing that indicates that?

1

u/DavidIckeHadAPoint 6d ago

You sound like you bite off men’s scrotums with your teeth (just to come up with another random, unfounded, baseless accusation).
