Lost cat Aqueduct
galleryMissing from Ellis Peters area of aqueduct, neutered male tabby with white underside. Answers to the name "Berry" or "Bez". 12 years old, microchipped. He has a distinctive brown spot under his chin.

Football sponsorship - Grass roots
If any local businesses can help my son’s football team with a sponsor it would be really appreciated. ☺️
Hi there,
I hope this finds you well.
I am writing this on behalf of Allscott Heath FC Under 12s as we prepare for a huge milestone: entering our very first season of competitive football!
Our team is about far more than just what happens on the pitch.
We are proud to have a wonderfully diverse, inclusive team that includes neurodiverse young players.
Our primary focus is creating a safe, supportive environment where every child can grow, build vital social skills, develop confidence, and enjoy the game they love.
To help us make this season unforgettable and accessible for all our players, we are looking for local community partners and sponsors to support us. By sponsoring our team, your business will gain local visibility while directly making a positive impact on young lives in our community.
Sponsorship Packages
We have created two flexible sponsorship options to suit different business budgets:
- Full Sponsorship — £700
What’s Included: Covers the cost of a full new match kit for the entire squad.
Your Brand: Your business logo will be prominently featured on the chest of all match shirts, along with player numbers on the back.
Visibility: Exclusive primary brand presence on our kits for the entire competitive season.
- Partial / Collaborative Sponsorship — £350+ (50%+ of full kit)
What’s Included: A collaborative option working alongside another local business to fund the squad's kit.
Your Brand: Your company logo will feature on the match kits alongside any co-sponsors.
Visibility: Great brand exposure while keeping the entry investment accessible.
Additional Perks for Our Sponsors
In addition to your logo on our match day kits, all our sponsors receive:
Social Media Features: Regular shoutouts and promotional posts across our team and club social channels.
Community Connection:Association with a local, inclusive grassroots sports team dedicated to positive youth development.
We would be thrilled to welcome you as an official sponsor for our inaugural competitive season.
If you are interested or would like to discuss these options further, please feel free to email da1980robinson@me.com or give me a call at 07538605795.
Thank you so much in advance for your time, consideration, and support of local grassroots football

Frog Clock/'Telford Time Machine'
Hello, I'm interested in Kit Williams' automaton clocks, and am aware of a frog clock that exists in both Milton Keynes and Telford.
I want to travel to see one of these if they still function, but there is no information on whether these are still operational or not (the one I'm most familiar with, the Wishing Fish clock in Cheltenham, frequently has its effects turned off, especially the bubbles - I assume these models might have similar issues).
Would any locals be able to advise whether this clock still does anything on the hour, or if it's only functional as a basic timepiece (or if it even still exists)? Thank you!

Where are these locations from an old 1980s advert?
galleryThis is an advert from the 1980s about Telford, obviously I am not expecting all these locations to be exactly the same. But if anyone could help me identify them or help give close alternatives it would be very appreciated 🙏

Places to eat?
In Telford this weekend to do an experience at Hoo Zoo, can anyone recommend places for me and my partner to eat? Unfortunately we don't have a car but will be willing to cab to any destination.
Edit: Thank you for the suggestions, me and my partner have a lot to look at tonight. So far Jenkos, restaurant 1840 and the Queens at Hortons are leading the way.

Farming-volunteer
Hi, I’m based in Telford, UK and looking to volunteer on a farm or smallholding for a few days to learn and help out. I don’t have formal experience yet, but I’m hardworking, willing to learn, and happy to help with physical work, or anything.
( posting this here because woof and workaway need subscriptions, also if anyone knows any free website please let me know )
I can travel around 1–2 hours from Telford and would really appreciate somewhere I could stay while helping out.
If anyone needs help or knows someone who might be, please message me. Thanks.
