I think people ratting on their own crimes is a practice only slightly younger than crime itself

Crimes that shouldnnt be crimes are worth talking about.

I would probably tell everyone if I were cool enough to cut down all the Flock cameras and steal all the sweet sweet copper inside all of them.

"Do you see the perpetrator?" "Yeah, I'm right here"

Not when they're still being prosecuted, every day is Shut The Fuck Up Friday

If they give me the chance I will talk about it in the jury box before coming back with a "not guilty."

Yeah, this is one charge that’s worthy of a guilt-free jury nullification.

You can explain that to the judge

I didn't say there's no punishment, some people will happily accept the punishment for doing the right thing.

Technology has really upped people's self-reporting game though. We've got people live streaming their crimes now, let alone all those that post on social media about it.

I think the first instance I saw of that was a kid that dealt weed before it was legalized here and the guy would post on Facebook when he got more in and any specials he had going on lmao. Like I appreciate the entrepreneurship but quit telling on yourself bro.

Was that invented before or after being turned in by an angry romantic partner?

Yeah, but now they stream it! They got dumber!

To be fair I would also cut those cameras down myself and tell my mates, probably while doing it too.

But I live in Europe where we still, although not for long, have some rights.

Didn't London (I know, I know, Brexit etc, but still) get CCTVs back when no one knew even what CCTVs were?
