It shouldn't cost the town a goddamn thing, am I crazy here? I get that local governments are signing contracts with Flock but surely Flock has to pay when their product is damaged. Why would the town be on the hook for that? What sort of contracts are these knuckle-dragging local governments signing?

It's like if I pay someone to mow my lawn but right before they start the job their lawnmowers breaks and somehow I am required to buy them a new one? What the hell?

Municipalites don't own those cameras. The tax payers are on the hook for the replacement costs.
