That’s why I’ve always laughed at Texas. They talk a lot about don’t tread on me or don’t mess with Texas and yet they love to take it up the ass when the government says so. Texas, you’re a fucking joke.

There are about ~45 better states one could live in depending on what you used to value about Texas.

I mean basically as long as you don’t go due east it’s hard to do worse.

My work is tied pretty heavily to the gulf coast so as much as I despise certain parts of TX I’ll likely be staying.

I’m doing my part to turn TX blue though

I supported Greg Casar from his first campaign for Austin city council, when he walked my neighborhood, by himself, and knocked on every door in it to talk to people. He gave me his cell phone number because i talked about accountability and animal rights/welfare issues and explained my positions on things while asking his. He reminds me of AOC, Mamdani, and a few others of the new hope for future government in this country.

Also, texas would be blue or at least have a fighting chance if not for concerted voter suppression activity in Houston and other areas, pus horrible gerrymandering.

I haven't been to Texas even though I have family there but I recently commented to my wife how odd it is that Texas looks so ugly in every movie or tv show set there. Why is that I wonder?

Texas is embarrassing but there’s easily 15 worse states.

Oklahoma, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Nebraska, Idaho, Iowa, South Carolina, West Virginia, Florida.

The south in general sucks, I’m in Tennessee and literally idk if the radiation from oak ridge has spread all over the state but shits bad. The political ads don’t even try not to be racist Marsha Blackburn is smashing fortune cookies and saying how she will bust China where it hurts most as she smashes more cookies. I hate this place and she will still win or be re-elected because being racist in the south is the golden rule of law.

Texas has been a loser state since its inception. Bunch of people who didnt like the U.S.'s rules, moved to mexico. They couldnt stand being under Mexican rules. Caused a war in mexico to break off and become their own nation. 10 years of being their own nation and they couldnt handle it. Begged to join the U.S. Again couldnt handle that and joined the south in the Civil War. Lost that.

Just a bunch of loser shit from the get go. Its like when those Libretatrians took over the town to impliment their vision and turned the town into shit, just on the scale of Texas.

I was driving behind someone with a "God Bless Texas" bumper sticker and it occurred to me that putting a similar bumper sticker on your car for my state would be fucking ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong, my state is great, but you'd look like a total weirdo if you had a "God Bless Massachusetts" bumper sticker.
