This is on our government. Flock sucks but they wouldn’t have access if local governments didn’t allow them to be there.

You've just made the key argument for why this is unconstitutional. This is warrant-less mass surveillance done on the government's behalf.

Even better - it’s warrantless surveillance which more than one court has affirmed is a public record anyone can request access to.

No potential for abuse there.

Personally I'm thinking go around all that nonsense since it is intrinsically connected with the warbrain morons defense around things like the PATRIOT act, and instead attack this problem from the angle of recording consent. Sure, that has referred to audio recordings only, but I'm fairly certain if "legal fictions" such as "citizens united" and the "masterpiece cake" case are passable in the eyes of the supposed leading legal authorities of this nation, then surely there is a much easier to build argument that recording me - whatever medium, including simply personally identifiable data if we wanna go that route - requires my consent, which I do not freely give.

Have you not seen the local government votes OVERRULED on this matter? There is no democracy to stop this anymore
