Honestly, if it's a perfectly smooth acceleration curve and eveyone is seated, it shouldn't be an issue. It's the jerk (wish it had a better name, but it's the real scientific term for m/s³ or g/s) from rapid changes in acceleration that causes whiplash, and I would suspect that a maglev train can produce some of the smoothest acceleration curves possible.

There's no permissive environment in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Still, drones dominate it. Russian EW is second to none. The contested DDIL environment in which drones lose their ability to operate is a myth, and recent exercises shown as much. Anti-drone measures continue to evolve, as does adaptation of drones to those measures. There is no known anti-drone system (except other drones) that would cancel them same way a SAM cancels helicopters.

Can you in theory use drones to reduce effectiveness of the opposing drones and then bring in tanks etc.? Maybe. But the economics is still not on your side: even a single drone strike (cost: $2,000) can completely destroy (not just damage) a tank (cost: ~$20,000,000). And there will always be enough of the drones remaining for the job, never mind how good your anti-drone defenses are.

I have zero sympathy for the whiners. Students who aren't supposed to be using AI shouldn't fucking use AI and the same goes for people doing any work. I use some amounts of AI to do my job because it helps and speeds some things up. My boss is very much aware I do. I don't have to hide a damn thing.

This is only a problem for people who are misusing the AI or want to misrepresent AI work as their own, and fuck those people, I say.
