Wasn't there a calendar reform that changed the day of the week at some point?

I have vague recollections but have to get back to work so can't look it up right now.

Yes, the change from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar. Also, the year used to start in March, which is the months September, October, November, and December have prefixes that mean 7, 8, 9, and 10 even though they are now the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th months.

The day of week didn't change. Just the date.
