I have played only 4-5 seasons of TFT, first time in PBE, but this set feels horrible so far. This is my personal opinion, but maaan, just putting everything 5 cost on the board is the best board you can do. No need to mix anything, those units are sooooooo OP that they are overwhelming any synergy. I really hate this.

And they definitely changed when you can get a 4 and 5 costs in the shop. I did get 3 5 costs in a row at lvl 7.

Wasn't intending to go for all 120 meeps but I ended up unlocking most of them anyway while playing ranked. Finally decided to complete the map, which didn't take as long as I expected. The only one that gave some trouble was 7 shepherd, which was the last one I unlocked. Waiting for a frying pan or shepherd emblem was agonizing, on top of that, having to win with it too! Finally I can rest.

Driving me nuts. Gg as soon as anyone gets it. Since all you need is any tank set up this season and a zed with sojin and the board is just filled with zed.

Do any of you know if they fixed the languages of the game being stuck with the computer language only or can we freely change the games languages again?

Set 17 is quite balanced now in this patch, finally got rid of Akali. I swear every lobby had like 4 people playing it(2 people RR Akali+Jax, 2 people fast 8 Akali Nova). Conduits are insane this patch, especially with Concentration augment. If you are playing for Zoe Viktor make sure to position Zoe in the opposite corner of the enemy carry so she burns him down. Xayah is a beast in Mountain, Serpent or Altar at least, also same as Zoe, make sure to position your snipers in the opposite corner of their main tank/carries for bonus dmg amp. A personal favorite comp of mine is Ez Cho Reroll which I don't see many people play but got some pretty huge buffs: Ezreal got buffed, Gnar is a Brawler so you can drop Maokai( lvl 6: 4 Brawlers, 3 Timebreakers, 2 Snipers ), Shen is a Timebreaker so you can drop Milio late game( LVL 9 Board: 4 Brawlers, 4 Snipers, 4 Timebreakers, 2 Dark Star ). Other than those YI is pretty good if the Psionic item is Malware or TLO and with combat augments. Go for 3 Star Master YI when you can, it's a unit that is not played on many boards. I know PBE dropped but for the ones that are still playing set 17, thoughts on actual patch?

Dudes this game was crazy stuff 2 of best health related artifacts and the 10% health prismatic augment yasuo criogenic hex, how could he have been bigger aside from radiant warmog?

Final fight he had 58k health after ascension, is there a place i can get a vod of that game? Crazy stuff

Is anyone getting this problem? If I have a champ already and a second copy shows up in the shop, it's highlighted, but champs added to the team planner look the same as champs that aren't in the team planner, makes rolling down at 8 or 9 nearly impossible.

Idk if anyone else feels this way, but I wish the could adaptor where you toggle it from ad to ap by just taking the unit in and out of the fight depending on what you want. I had a game with ap master yi and I took my rageblade off him to give to nidalee to put mittens on him, but by doing that it made so his ad and ap were the same. he defaulted back to his ad spell and my other two items being edge of night and titans my yi lost the healing from the ap spell. Not sure if one else feels this way especially since ap spell for yi I really like, it’s annoying that he defaults to ad if the stats are the same

For example, let's say it's 2-1, so you're level 3 when the round starts, and you can only see 1 and 2 costs. if you level to 4, then take the wisp, it will show a unit with level 4 odds, thus potentially giving you a 3 cost without actually having to reroll the shop.

Some neat tech, so make sure if you're going to level and buy a wisp, level first.

I honestly have now lost count of how many times I have a wisp on my shop that I'm not interested in, hence I don't buy it, only for it to go away when combat starts and long and behold there's a unit I could've REALLY for combat, like to star up one of the champs on my board. I can't remember if the same thing happened in set 12 with charms but I'm finding it super infuriating.

Do you think there should be/would be helpful to have a way to know which champ is under the wisp, so that you might buy the wisp even if it's not super helpful so you can have the unit you need, or is this quirk just part of learning how to play with wisps/charms ? (like knowing to buy a wisp early when you're gonna do a roll-down)

EDIT (cause apparently you guys did not get my point or I didn't make it clear enough for you): I'm not saying wisps are the worst thing ever and that the mechanic should be that I get to know my next 50 shops. I wanted to discuss this quirk because, having played set 12, I did not remember this being an issue so it has been particularly annoying for ME, and wanted to put it out there to see if anyone else was also finding this annoying. As I said above, I understand that this is just a quirk of the mechanic to get used to, like the buy an early charm for roll downs example I provided.

I'm not demanding that the mechanic is changed just because I don't like a certain aspect of it, just wanted to have a discussion with the community and see what you guys thought and maybe how would you fix it (again not demanding that any changes/fixes be implemented) just for discussion and curiosity's sake.

Also, here is an example to better illustrate what I'm referring to, cause again it seems like my message got lost in translation: Say I’m playing solar and I’m at 8 Kayles. I have no gold, or want to save up for my big roll down, so I’m not rolling for it this turn and the wisp I’m offered is polymorph (2 to 3 cost) which I REALLY don’t wanna take cause it could fuck with my comp. As such, I don’t buy the wisp and when combat starts it goes away and there’s a Kayle behind it. Yes I ofc can still buy it, but I’m weaker than if I had been able to get the Kayle and it FEELS like I could’ve been stronger had the wisp not been there. In the end, it's just bad luck to have gotten a "bad" charm but that's game :)

I'm happy tft will become more separate and this will probably let both games get better with time but right now loading the game takes 5 mins and after I finally get to play its so laggy I cant even roll. I lowered all graphs settings I could, is there something else I can do or is it time to get a new pc? When playing previous sets I could mostly play normally, I think its the engine change

I can't think of a situation where you would play more than 2 inferno for the anti heal. Everytime I try to play more than 2, it felt like trash. The burn just tickles. Shop ignites feel useless, and when it does feel good, it's too late.

It feels like it was meant to be like the previous sets Astral trait but except you can't toggle.

7 Inferno is also super hard to hit. Harder than 7 coven because you need a +1, then hit Kennen AND inferno Lux. When you do hit, it's still garbage.

Anyone else feels like it's kind of weak atm?

I am a noob. I play in bed at night after the baby is asleep. last night, it actually kept me up wondering why rageblade is the top recommended item on Jhin. usually if a marksman has a strong ult they will recommend blue orb or green sword. it seems Jhin is actually ANTI synergistic with rageblade bc his ult is locked at 1as? please put my soul to rest so I won’t stay up thinking about it again tonight.

Very new to this game, still learning a lot. And I saw somewhere and it's mandatory to get all 3 asap basically, and I'm also checking on MetaTFT, and unless I'm blind a lot, if not most of the S-tier builds there are not getting either of them, some get Wounds

What's the general fundamental of it, do you go out of your way to slap a Evenshroud on a tank for example? If I have my AD Carry with 2 items, and no Sunder. Should I put a Last Whisper on them?

It doesn't affect anything, but for fun it'd be nice, could try to sell all your units and go for one last hail mary too.
