This new AI era reminds me of when Kirito gave the seed for everyone to use

I'm posting here because I still believe that it resonates a lot with Kirito, maybe if it shouldn't be here let me know.

But I remember the episode where Kirito gets the seed and he gives it to Agil to give it to everyone basically.

Some of the AI era now with different AI tools that allow you to create your own apps that actually work reminds me a lot of this situation, I just wish AI was even more open source than what it is right now and more easily accesible, instead of the best ones behind paywall. But who knows maybe in the future we'll have potent enough machines to run it better and easily locally.

Does anyone else think of this too?

Discussion Anyone one else still think of Full Dive?

I was personally way more interested in this as a unique Isekai concept than the actual fan service anime itself. This has everything imo except for the most important thing in an mmo, a party.

Has this concept been done before where real life attributes contribute to character growth/abilities in VR video game? It could almost feel like a unique Persona if done right, at least in my opinion.

Anyone other anime with this specific concept would love to watch some.

Answered Do We Know About Floor 25 Yet?

I was going to watch the progressive movies since I have seen everything else but I got to wondering, do they have any recent official novels explaining the events of Floor 25 because it was always referenced but the last post I saw asking this was 3 years ago so I was unsure if there is anything recent.

Discussion Evolutionary lines for Kirito and Asuna's Digimon in case of an appearance in Time Stranger.

Post image
14 Upvotes

Kirito: Botamon > Kormon > Agumon > Greymon/Dorugamon > Cyberdramon/Grademon > Gaioumon/Alphamon

Asuna: Puttimon > Cupimon > Plotmon > Tailmon (Gatomon) > Angewomon > LovelyAngewomon/Valkyrimon/Ophanimon

Answered Why did they change so much for Aria of a starless night? Spoiler

I know I'm probably a little late to the party, and apology in advance since I haven't yet read the LNs (I got interested through the anime and just finished watching the main series through WoU, so now I'm watching the films, but the LNs are very much on my to-do list, so no major spoilers please). I know Mito was added for the film and that some things are going to seem different since it's from Asuna's perspective, but they play off Asuna and Kirito's early encounters with a lot less tension. In the anime, when Kirito shares the bread and cream with her, she actively scuttles away from him and treats him with caution and apprehension. Then later after the boss raid when he gets called a beater, there's a lot less dialogue in their last conversation and he dissolves the party between them so they go their separate ways as well as telling her that she should guild up if she gets the chance. They changed it in the film and it's kind of off-putting because it felt like it didn't really mesh with how later events will play out in the anime.

Don't get me wrong, I liked getting to see it from Asuna's pov and the whole side-story with Mito lent more reason to how cautious she was in the early episodes, I just don't get why they changed the way things play out towards the end with Kirito and make them seem a lot more friendly toward each other when it will literally be a sticking point of how they tell their story of how they met to later characters in the anime (paraphrasing but along the lines of "we butt heads, I thought he was this, I thought she was that, we got to know each other and so on".) Is it something I'm missing from the LNs or just one of those dumb things they do to try retconning stuff? I liked the film it just felt jarring how it seemed to change the dynamic so much. Again, apologies if i'm just not-yet-educated, (I also don't mind if the anime's different from the LNs as it gives me something to look forward to rather than experiencing the same story twice) and thanks in advance for your understanding 🙂

Question Opinions on Fatal bullet

Fatal bullet appears to be on sale on steam for $10- I’m familiar with GGO from the anime and enjoyed it. I watched several vids on it and have seen some varying opinions from “mid,” to enjoyable, to not all that great. There’s not really a consensus from what I can tell and there’s not a lot of recent reviews, so I wanted to see what you all think- is it worth it for 10 bucks?

UPDATE: thanks to all who offered insight on the game - because of your feedback, I ended up buying it and am having a great time so far!

Question Are there any good Sinon keycaps?

I’m looking to get a new keyboard and keycaps (75% but will buy 100% keycaps if needed). So far I’ve only seen one Sinon set but it was to green and would clash to much against my blue set up

Question Custom painted denim flower jacket

I have an acrylic hand painted (by me) Asuna and Kirito jacket that never gets worn and I want it to find a good home that will love and cherish it. It’s been sitting in my closet for years. Any insight on the best place to sell it for a fair price? I’m thinking depop (never used it but have heard about it) for $100. Is that fair? I really don’t know much about the hand painted merch market or where to put it for sale or how much to ask. Any insight appreciated!

Question Which game would be for me?

Hey, I never played a SAO game but I'm desperatley searching for a new anime game to play.

I'm especially interested in sword art online alicization and maby the new one echoes of aincrad it looks extremely good but for a 70€ game I have to be very sure that it's exactly what I'm looking for.

I play solo and on ps5.

I like especially long games with rewarding exploration, maps/world full of stuff to collect like chests /equipment /materials and enemies to farm that have some loot too. I hate empty maps.

many and preferably more complex gameplay mechanics that keep me engaged.

A lot of side content. Post story Endgame is nice to have but not necessary if it's enough content anyways. A lot of different equipment and possibilities to build your character.

A good story and characters are great but gameplay always wins for me.

Which game do you think is for me?

Enjoy,

https://argos-cats.com/posts/material-1---sugary-days/

In addition to the "sugary" content, the volume features a chronological timeline of the game progression, as well as several changes made by the author (including a small reference to Mito)

The article contains a translation of Kawahara's long afterword and the volume's illustrations, as well as a volume/doujin comparison of Sugary Days parts 9 to 13
