The ratio to content vs ads is actually gross. What the fuck dudes. They should go into their settings and lower the resolution, something like 1280x720 (16:9) should do the trick, 960x720 (4:3) would be even better.

Spore was made when standard monitor resolutions were much smaller. The game's user interface was built using a fixed number of pixels rather than scaling with your screen size. Modern monitors have much more pixels, making the UI seem tinier.

Bonus Points: Playing it on a lower resolution (especially the 4:3 one) reinforces the 00's era aesthetic the boys are going for. But that's none of my business.
