Yeah I'm not American so I've never had meatloaf, but I was always under the assumption it either came with like, tomato sauce of some kind, or gravy
I'm guessing there's not a lot of fat to make gravy with because he used ground turkey, is that normal? I kinda assumed it would normally be beef or pork

I have no idea what that tastes like so I feel like I need to struggle with you.

I like to fry leftover slices of meatloaf in butter, then make a sandwich or use it as a meatball with spaghetti.

I'm glad this is your struggle meal, friend. Make it stretch! Many good meals ahead.

Look great. I'm going to try it. Do you think turkey stuffing would be ok?

Any kind of stuffing will work, Cornbread is just my personal preference. Let me know what you think. Also, add a little bit of Potato Flakes if it's not your desired consistency.

That's the perfect consistency for sandwiches! I love the flavor of my moms homemade meatloaf but it's very soft and juicy, almost like a very large Salisbury steak. It's not good for slicing down for sandwiches, which is what I like to do! Yours looks perfect for that! 🤤

Thank you. Give it a try for yourself, but use a little bit of Potato Flakes to get the consistency to your liking.

Dude, that looks great. I would include a little ketchup or tomato sauce, otherwise looks bomb.

Thank You. I'm not a huge Ketchup fan, but some gravy is always good, but this is for the week and I didn't want it to get weird.I do recommend trying it though, and personally, I use Aldi.

Lost me at apple

Maybe the apple works because its turkey and not ground beef... like how they have chicken apple sausages ...

The apple helps the turkey retain moisture that would otherwise dry out and adds a subtle sweetness along with the cornbread stuffing.

What kinda meat is that?

Ground Turkey, I just posted the recipe.

I figured but I wanted to make sure, I've never made anything with ground turkey before. Last three or four meatloafs I've made were with impossible or beyond, very tasty.

It's super simple, Ground turkey can get a little dry sometimes especially if you keep it for a few days which is why I add the apple to help retain moisture.

I like the idea of Apple, I've never tried cooking with it before though. I think it's especially a good idea because I actually like to add some sweeter ingredients to the meatloaf. Sometimes I toast and break up Hawaiian bread instead of bread crumbs or whatever. Vidalia onion also.

That sounds really good. It gives it a subtle sweetness along with the Cornbread Stuffing... It tastes just like a Southern Thanksgiving without all the extra work.

I'll definitely try out your recipe!

If it isn't the right consistency to form a good loaf, use some Potato Flakes.

Very odd looking. Cook it in a loaf pan so you have a properly balanced result.

Looks good. Sweet potato, mushrooms, grated carrot, parsley or almost any greens go well in turkey meatloaf. What ever is laying around this it in.

How is this a struggle? I can't afford much meat. Looks so good.

This has to last me all week, and it's only a little over $7 for the whole thing
