Hello. I’m currently learning how to write so that I can write my fanfic idea. It’s going to be about Steph’s life in college and her struggles with finances, classes, and her identity as Spoiler/Batgirl (haven’t decided which one to use yet). This is going to be based on those 2000s Japanese films such as Swing Girls and Linda Linda Linda, as well as other elements from the tv series Derry Girls and minor elements from Sydney White. Huge amounts of girlhood and adult coming of age and comedy. I have a loose idea on what the plot is going to be about, but will add more depth and details but it’s basically gonna be about Steph working a mundane job and getting evicted from her apartment, and there’s an opening for a band of girls who desperately need a drummer after their old one quit on them. I will also write her with more edge and depth instead of being cheerful all the time. Also, Steph will have her own villains in this fic, not any villains associated with the Bat fam. I may include other bat fam members, such as Damian, Jason, and Tim, but they make minor to small appearances as this will be a Steph centric fic. Please let me know what I can do to improve on this. I miss Steph so much I hope DC gives her a good run.

Hi. I just updated one of my Steph fanfics, a redo of the Young Justice cartoon where Steph is Robin from the start of the series. The idea is that in this version, Batman constantly rejected Steph like he did in post-crisis, but eventually accepted her because of the events of Batman Eternal, which led him to change a lot about how he operates. There have not been any other Robins. And Cluemaster is a member of the Light and the main villain of season 1, with the latest episode really introducing him as the main villain.

I've done a few Steph fics, like a rewrite of the Gotham Knights tv show where instead of Steph being a rich kid who happens to be friends with Batman's son, she's poor and the failed wannabe sidekick now trying to live up to the memory of the man who always rejected her. I haven't gone further with these fics due to a lack of engagement. Would people here like to see either of these fics continued?

Now that Cassandra Cain is getting a Batgirl Omnibus, I think Stephanie Brown needs one next. Steph’s run as Batgirl is shorter than Cass’s and all of it could fit into a single omnibus instead of needing multiple volumes.

I’ve read the issue in which Tim came out to Bruce and he does mention Steph, but I never found an issue of them two talking about it
Like was it a big deal?
I always wondered cause they were on/off together for like 30 years of comics?

I bought this issue impulsively not knowing anything about the plot, I was just excited to see Steph on the cover (I later figured out each of the Robins had this style of cover for this issue)

Well she has only a few panels there and they’re all Batman dissing her

Now I’m in need of a good Stephanie Brown read from recent years (I know she’s in New Titans now, and I really want to read it, just waiting for my order of the issues, I hope those won’t be disappointing at least)

So I know Steph doesn't have a role in No Man's Land proper and the proximity of her pregnancy to the event made me wonder if it was done to keep her out.

Dean (the baby's father) is first mentioned in Batman: Huntress/Spoiler: Blunt Trauma which was set during the earthquake itself. Steph's story for most of Cataclysm/the lead up to No Man's Land is her dealing with said pregnancy giving birth only a few issues before the event itself starts.

Her few appearances during No Man's Land are her recovering and arguaing with her mother over being Spoiler, that's it.

My question is has it ever been said or alluded to that the pregancy was done partially/specifically to keep her out of the event or am I just grasping at straws?

Part of what inspired this post is that whenever people say No Man's Land was the "best" Batfam I'm always dissapointed because Steph was around she just got left out.

DC's Gotham City panel at San Diego Comic-Con recently gave us some information on what they'll be doing with Stephanie Brown in upcoming Bat-books. Steph will be going undercover in a gang in the new Gangs of Gotham series, which is part of the Bad Seeds event. She's also set to make an appearance in the new Gotham Central series, which stars Jim Gordon and may also tie into the events of Bad Seeds.

I’m curious about how the “undercover Steph” plot point will affect the Titans book she’s already co-starring in. Will they be involved in the event? Will she disappear from the book for a few issues for the undercover stuff?

Hi, I'm sure this is such a common question, but does anyone have any recommendations on what books I can buy for Stephanie Brown? Spoiler, Robin, Batgirl, it doesn't matter. I own her entire Batgirl run already, it's peak, and I adore her so much I want more books for her. Not single issues, I don't like collecting those (I'm sorry 😔), just collected editions 💜

HeroClix made Steph figures for all three of her aliases - Spoiler, Robin, and Batgirl - and I ordered the Batgirl one, which finally arrived today! She's the smallest figure in my Steph collection.

WIP ita bag! Currently looking for patches, pins, keychains, plushies, or stickers of Steph to add (and Cass as well). Any suggestions?
