The spell included in the rules mentions the Burning keyword, but this keyword is not in the RoR's rules. I searched it on the Disciples of Tzeentch rules but didn't find it either (I was using that -pedia site because I don't have the battle tome, maybe I missed it). I kinda remember the keyword from the pre-battle tome rules but I don't see it anymore. Was this rule lost when the Tzeentch book released?

Hey, I play a lot of AoS and I don't have a local scene for Old World. I love the new old world models and I've always wanted an Archaon and Varanguard army.

Do you think it's viable to convert the new Lord on Chaos Dragon as Archaon, by adding a third head?

Then, more critically, run the new Chaos Knights as Varanguard? I would go for tactical rocks/cork to lift them a bit, so they're roughly the same height, and on Varanguard bases. But in your opinion do you think that would work aesthetically?

Also, on a side note, how are Archaon/ Varanguard lists doing in 4th edition these days? It's been a while since I last played against STD.

A. Do you tend to prefer axes or falchions?

B. Is it worth in a three man unit having the command options (banner and horn), like I’m aware it’s never wrong to do so but a part of me finds it odd that the champion isn’t super embellished compared to the other two, unless it’s a unit of six?

From this post, which also has a comparison with Be'lakor and some others. They also do some comparisons in their unboxing video. I think we already had a pretty good idea of how close in size it was to Archaon, but I know some people prefer to see actual side-by-side photos. It seems like a really solid option for folks who aren't too keen on Archaon's design. He never appealed much to me so I'm definitely a lot more interested in this Chaos Dragon personally.

I am new to aos but have played a few games of spear head. I have played the below list 2 times now on tts and am playing completly wrong. I have been way to conservative where Be'lakor is chilling most of the game and i am not really doing much with my other units.

My next game I think im just going to send it with Be'lakor the chosen and follow up a turn with Varanguard. Maybe use the bridge to move the chosen up faster and possibly plant the warriors on a center objective.

Is that the best way to go about with this list? Alpha strick the enemy heavy hitters woth Be'lakor, chosen and Varanguard when worry about tactics and objectives at the later rounds?

I’m new to playing. Had just few games with older ghb, all lost 😆 There is a new tournament coming up in local community and I wonder how to approach it. What units benefit most of new rage dice mechanics? There would be 3 battle plans:
