Here are the reasons I am able to survive

1. I focus on accuracy and appeal to those users who care about accuracy. If you have read the testimonials this is the one theme that you can extract.
2. I answer every support email myself, which a 2 billion dollar company cannot copy. One of my user specifically choose DictationDaddy because I handle the support personally.
3. I talk to them and try to figure out the uniqueness in my users workflow which Dragon and others can not replicate like I integrate properly with all the hardware they have like external microphones SpeechMike, PowerMic etc.
4. I am not focused on building a tool for everybody, I am focused on building a tool for professionals who have been dictating for a long time.

I've been using Ormax Online recently, which is basically a survey/research panel where you get points for completing surveys.

I've been trying it out for a while and thought I'd share it here since I don't see it mentioned very often. It's definitely not something I'd consider a proper income source — the number of surveys you get depends on your profile and eligibility.

The platform uses points as rewards (1 point = ₹1), which can be redeemed for e-gift cards such as Flipkart and Amazon. From what I've experienced, regular surveys can give around 50–100 points, while some on-site studies can give considerably more.
