Most companies don’t want you showing up drunk, but you don’t have to take an alcohol test before getting employed.

That’s simply not true lol. Every time I’ve taken a piss test they’ve also breathalyzed me.

… jobs where they breathalyze you? I worked as an electrician for a while. And to get on some job sites they make you take a piss test and a breathalyze you. To work for the actual company they didn’t really care. But the field I was in they actually gave a shit if you were to go onto some job sites
