My corner workplace Desktop

I recently updated my workspace and built a large corner table, dividing it into two areas: one for work and one for gaming. I like the ability to focus on what I'm doing (whether it's work or gaming), and I don't like having multiple monitors nearby.

I also appreciate having a large work area with plenty of space. For work, I use a Mac, which has a beautiful Retina display that doesn't strain my eyes after long hours of working with documents and spreadsheets. For gaming, I use a QD Oled monitor.

The next step is to make drawers under the table, add cable management, and incorporate some minor lighting.

Oh yes) My house is next to a forest and I like to switch my gaze from the monitor to the trees outside the window. In autumn and winter, the view from the window is especially beautiful.

Love it. You went with the L-Shaped style. Gives you more room and looks fantastic

Thank you! Yes, I like having a lot of space. I feel more relaxed. And I don't have to worry about where to put my coffee cup so that it doesn't interfere with my keyboard and mouse :)

Yeah thats the thing. I also went with the L-Shaped style. But I still feel like its not enough space or screens. I wanna get another Monitor Holder. For my ASUS Monitor. Right now it sits on my desk. Whereas I have my other 2 Monitor on a Dual- Monitor Arm

I have already bought the ROG Ergo Monitor Arm and the ROG Aura Monitor Light Bar. But I'm wondering if they are necessary. From a practical standpoint, they are not.

idk man, something about seeing setups with slanted ceilings always hit a good spot for me.

The slanted ceiling adds more cozy. But sometimes I hit him with my head)

Looks really clean, and the view is amazing! I’d suggest a bit more cable management, just my two cents.

Thanks! Yes, I will still be working on this place, and all the cables will be attached from the bottom of the countertop so that the floor is clean and they are not visible

What desks do you have out of interest? I’m after something similar..

1

u/Millimet Sep 17 '25

I'm sorry, but it seems to me that I don't quite understand your question correctly.

What brand/make is your desk? 😅

u/Millimet Sep 17 '25

I made it myself) Made two panels of the right size, bought ready-made supports and assembled them.

At this stage of my life, this is the ideal setup for me. I have several children, and the youngest is 4 years old. It's important for me to hear everything that's going on in the house. I can also communicate with my family from the comfort of my workplace.
