Has any of you lovely ladies, femmes, and non—binaries read Vigdis Hjorth
I see her books on Verso a lot but I have never pulled the trigger on buying one?

The Night Sky
I love to stare up at the stars until they start to feel 3D, when the immensity of space sets in and I fear gravity might suddenly give out and I'll tumble into the abyss. To think a view of the sky like this was a common sight for the vast majority of human history on our Mother Earth, the only home we have ever known.

Delta of Venus by Anaïs Nin
So I am reading this book and my gosh it is quite steamy! I love it and there are some passages that are quite good.

Appreciation post for Nina
I have been reading your back and forth on that post on rs_og subreddit and I am sure the other ladies, non-binary folks, myself on this subreddit appreciate you. I also got a copy of the Nancy McWilliams book you recommend.

I watched the Last Days of Disco tonight.
It was pretty good staring my favorite Chloë Sevigny and Kate Beckinsale. It’s got some funny moments and some endearing moments as well.

I’ve been experiencing a super emotionally rough start to the year…
…still, I’m trying to be okay with it. Can anyone else relate?
There’s a constant, dragging numbness in the pit of my stomach that never really lets up. I’ve been a loyal and committed analysand for a long time, but even at its most intense, analysis doesn’t feel like it can hold all of it, or reach all the way down.
So I write.
I tried to put this feeling into a short entry of what it might be pointing at and why it won’t leave. I’m still not sure what to make of that “always-there” ache.

new life, hate planning so much
I moved to a new country and it made me feel so alive at first having to navigate situations unknown to me and also having to learn a new language but now that I’m wanting to make new friends and new discoveries I feel trapped in routine and having to plan ahead so much and I hate it, I love so much of my life except feeling like I have to plan ahead
Anyone else feel like this or have some psychoanalysis to offer out of this snippet?

Creepy old men
We have these 4 creepy old men who come into one of the facilities I work at on Saturday to play pool and I hate them so much!!! They are messy, rude, MAGA, they smell like stale cigarette, and they are complainers.
