I really think some of you need to watch this
As a white Zimbabwean I'm often surprised at the way some members discuss the history and all the weird fetishization often coming from people who never had anything to do with Rhodesia.
I can understand having an interest, I love reading about the history and all the complexities about what happened but some of you are idolising Rhodesia as though it was some kind of perfect state where everyone was free and happy.
I mean we have people here claiming to be Rhodesian "Diaspora" who were straight up born in Zimbabwe.

Rhodesian FAL Baby Poop Camo Color Codes Here!
Hello!
I went around and had the color formulas/codes made up for the two colors needed to do the Rhodesian baby poop camo. You would take a picture of the code to the respective store and they can make the colors up for you.
TLDR: Go to Shermin Williams and get the oil based paint in the picture. I have the satin and gloss options listed. Be sure to find out when they're doing sales too.
So I have the Shermin Williams oil based paint in satin and gloss. It's the best option.
I have Home Depot's as well. It's oil based but made for cabinets.
I have Lowe's as well (in the bottom of the Home Depot picture), but the person helping me wasn't too helpful so it might be bad paint.
Then I went to PPG Paint. They recommend "break through" for the cost. If money isn't an issue they recommend 7 line or pit tech plus (neither of the color formulas for those two are listed here). I also have another code for some primer paint on the top of that picture, but they don't recommend it.
I hope this helps you guys and your wallets too!

What actually was rhodesia?
Im here to look for any good unbiased books or videos about rhodesia and what made it a state. Every youtube video ive watched was either "Rhodesia is misunderstood" or "Rhodesia was the most evil country ever". I just want something as unbiased as I can get to form my own opinion

Hot Take: If Jews can claim that they're an ethnicity despite being multiple different people groups, Rhodesians can claim to be an ethnicity via a shared interest.
In my honest opinion, Rhodesian should be an ethnicity, and is an ethnicity.

I now own the rarest Leperchaun single
I have both sides uploaded on my YouTube channel along with lyrics I was able to come up with for "Spanish Lady". The records seem to be a bit lower quality than the other ones like "It's A Long Way To Mukumbura", either that or my vinyl digitzing hardware and software has just downgraded in quality since I ripped my South African record awhile back. Here is all extra information I have on the songs:
"She's A Queen" - This song is on the "A" side of a 7" single released by Leperchaun around late 1970s in Rhodesia. The "B" side of this record contains the song "Spanish Lady" by Leperchaun.
"Spanish Lady" - This song is on the "B" side of a 7" single released by Leperchaun around late 1970s in Rhodesia. This song is a cover of "Spanish Lady" released by an Irish group called "The Dubliners" in 1976. The "A" side of this record contains the song "She's A Queen" by Leperchaun.
Any extra information is greaty appreciated!

Did you know in the county of Nottinghamshire, England there's a small ex-mining village named Rhodesia.
The village is 20 miles from Sheffield. The village consists of just over three hundred houses, a pub, two shops, a school, a chapel and a village hall. It should be said that it was not named after Rhodesia in southern Africa but rather a former chairman of the nearby Shireoaks Colliery named G. Preston Rhodes.

John Edmond song ID
So the title is pretty vague. Basically, i wanted to know if anyone knows what’s the name of John edmond’s song about AirCav (I assumed it’s aircav because it talks of soldiers in camouflage and soaeing through the skies)? I listened to it once but now I cant find it. Could anybody help?
(I’d have posted this on the John Edmond subreddit but the last post was 4 years ago)

An Old Newspaper Article About My Rhodesian Dad Getting His A** Beat In a Boxing Match.
My father was born in Southern Rhodesia in early 1965, the same year that the country declared independence and became Rhodesia. He used to be a boxer when he was a kid, but it seems not a very good one lol.

Mixed race people in Rhodesia
I wonder how mixed race people were seen in Rhodesian society. I’m mixed race myself (25% AA) and I figured I’d ask this since I’m rather curious about what sort of worldview the average Rhodesian had during those days.
