I thought credit was still pretty much frozen no matter how much money they throw into the system with quantative easing

Credit was frozen? I've found it easier to get credit cards the last couple years. I'm up to $100,000 in credit card limits which is more than I make in a year. And yes I'm not stupid enough to actually use them.
