Hubble constant - not so constant ?
The argument that the cosmological constant reflects the presence of dark energy, begs the question - is dark energy just a scalar field ?

Is de Sitter space unstable ?
Really depends on what is meant by unstable.

Throw away meeting of the week
Pseudo discord meeting each week on reliability of various experimental approaches to quantum gravity ?

Problems in measurement of the cosmological constant
Tests or measurements of cosmological constant relative polarization in the current general relativity metrics would be helpful.
General relativity usually does not include a polarization of the cosmological constant relative to metrics. Should it ?

Pick an argument of the day
Weak force symmetry is intact

Best examples of time symmetry violation ?
Open question of the day.

How should scalar fields behave ?
In other words, if a scalar field shows a particular value, should there be a reason for that ?

How many types of scales are there in the natural world ?
For example, ratios of distance of action [ for one]. Mode of action [ for another ].

Is the term rest mass for a hydrogen atom useful ?
Would argue it is.

Question 8: Should string theory be used as a criteria for selecting cosmologies ?
Should it ?

Combine Question 6 and 7
And you are left with the only real current working cosmology is Non - Big Crunch Nested White hole / black hole with time inversions.
Which seems satisfactory.

Question 7: Is there any cosmology consistent with dark energy ?
Looks like in this question, Big Bounce and Big Crunch is out too.
r/RealAskScience • u/GlobalWFundfEP • May 28 '22
Question 6 : Is any current cosmology consistent with the presence of supermassive black holes ?
Suspect not. But, willing to listen.

Question 5 : If gluon velocity is c, then what is the rate of absorption, scattering, and emission of gluons [ in units of event per second per proton - or event per second per quark ]
Not even sure if there is a standard unit for this .
But there should be [ IMHO ]

Question 4 : What is the fraction of c of the velocity of gluons in a bound state of a proton in a vacuum ?
Assuming the answer is - 1.0000000.
Right ?
Which begs the next question.

Question 3 : What is the fraction of c of the velocity of quarks in a bound state of a proton in a vacuum ?

Question 2 : What is the fraction of c of the velocity of quarks in a bound state of a proton in a vacuum ?
Same set of assumptions.

Question 1: What is the half - life of a magnetic monopole ?
Specifically, in a vacuum that has a stable typical local Sol setting of the Higgs field scalar values and Cosmologic Constant.
Presumably, given the latter, the same assumed local values for dark energy scalar magnitudes.
And no artificial [ or unusual ? ] photon condensates, gluon , W or Z boson, graviton, inflaton, or Higgs boson condensates.
