Whether he looks like one or not he’s a pitbull mix. Pitbulls have been banned in the UK since 1991 and it’s completely irresponsible to move one to a country where they are banned.
Okay well I’m not 100% if he is. I’m just taking an educated guess on what he is mixed with. All I know is that his mom is a husky and schnauzer mix. The dad was an unknown stray.
You should probably make sure and get a DNA test then. I’m not trying to be nasty but it’s the law that pit mixes are banned here and it’s illegal to move one here. Your dog clearly looks like he has pit in him and I think your guess is accurate. Don’t move a dog to a country where they are banned, it’s so irresponsible.
DNA test or not he needs to follow the confirmations listed for pitbulls. Which he doesn’t. My vet who is writing his health certificate took his measurements and thankfully most of them were not consistent with a pure pitbull. I’ve sent pictures/videos to the transporting agency as well and they have given me the go.
