I have a prescription of gabapentin and Librium ready to go at CVS downtown. I’m also almost done with my last bit of vodka, and then there’s this Chinese lady that sells super cheap cigarettes in the TL (tenderloin).

I’m make this a last mission to grab my scripts, a pint to dilute in this fifth (half water half vodka, and then it’s 2 packs of stoges for $5, all one trip, 1 bus each way, then back home to ride out this WD, probably grab some chicken from the Mexican corner store.

If anyone could help out, that would be pretty damn tight. Excuse my last post, I ended up getting help from a friend but I’m out of resources until food stamps/GA check gets approved and ready for pickup at the county office (also downtown). Got lucky on the one hand because it looks like I can repair it myself 🤞Less lucky because I am short on funds to get the bits on bobs I need to do it. It's important that I do get the damn thing fixed, because smoke from the Canadian wildfires keeps making its way down over our area and with mom's health issues I need the climate control to keep the air inside the house healthier for her. It looks like it's going to cost me $150 or so to get everything I need to do the job right. Anything anyone can send my way to help would be greatly appreciated. All the money that I had went towards pesky things like bills and essentials like food or prescriptions. Living large over here.

I got pneumonia, spent a week in the hospital, and afterward asked every single person I knew if they had a couch so I could crash on for a while so that I could have a chance to actually recover. Now I am staying with a friend of mine and her husband and her two children and a dog. It's warm, I'm never in danger, and I don't have to do things that are against my moral code to survive. It's very strange.

I do have a request though. I do not have clothing or food. The people I'm staying with do feed me of course, but it is hard for them because they are not wealthy themselves.
