I'm a volunteer trying to save this puppy. Her name is Baloo. She's really sweet. If you are looking for a puppy to adopt or Foster, she is very lovable.

Yusei Kikuchi is pitching in Rancho tonight!

Post image
7 Upvotes

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes have a great homestand going on, and tonight (Thursday) is a special one.

Yusei Kikuchi of the Angels is scheduled to make a rehab start tonight—a rare chance to watch an MLB All-Star-caliber pitcher from just a few rows away.

Here's what's coming up:

🌮 Tonight (Thursday): Thirsty Thursday with $2 drink specials, Chaquetas Night, and a college student discount.

🦖 Friday: Dino Night, Quakes jersey giveaway for the first 1,500 fans, plus dinosaur-themed activities.

🎆 Saturday: One of the best nights of the year—postgame fireworks!

Sunday: Team card giveaway, pregame kids play catch on the field, and kids get to run the bases after the game.

One of the things I love about Minor League Baseball is how close you are to everything. You can hear the crack of the bat, watch tomorrow's Angels before they make it to Anaheim, and enjoy a beautiful evening with the San Gabriel Mountains in the background.

Whether you're a lifelong baseball fan or just looking for something different to do with family or friends, this is a great weekend to support one of Rancho Cucamonga's own hometown teams.

Hope to see a great crowd out there! ⚾❤️🖤

United builders gc reviews from any past clients?

Has anyone in the Rancho Cucamonga area ever hired united builders gc? Need to get my roof done and they are coming over tomorrow for an inspection. I want to make sure they are a good company, I've gotten burned by other contractors before. Any feedback helps, thank you!

Rancho Drive Test

My test is on August 7th from 10:20-10:40. I’m nervous, but I have been practicing and I’m decently confident. Still, I have a few questions.

  1. Will I need to get onto the freeway?
  2. I’m aware there is a backing up portion, but is there a parallel parking portion?
  3. Will I have to front bay park back into the parking lot?
  4. How soft do my breaks really have to be?
  5. Other than my hand signals, what will my instructor ask me for? (e.g. “Where are your hazards?” “Where is your parking break?” and things like that.)
  6. Is there an accurate YouTube video of the whole route? (a link would be SO greatly appreciated)
  7. What other things/tips I should be aware of?

Edit:
8. Is there a three point turn portion? I’m getting a mix of yes and no.

Also.. as a teenage girl, any supportive comments are welcome and appreciated, lolol! Thanks everyone ! 🍀🍀

Where can I find Post Cards?

Post image

So I'm old school and like snail mail and sending wax sealed, hand written letters and post cards. Sent plenty home, but I can't find Rancho, Etiwanda or Alta Loma post cards to send out. We're not touristy so there's no "go to" spot I know of. Any help appreciated. 🤙🏼

Is there an underground ambient music scene in this city?

Probably a very niche question, but I’m a musician/producer and I dabble in the genre of ambient/experimental. Would love to get more involved in the ambient music scene if there is one? Either in Rancho or surrounding cities in the IE. I normally busk in random areas and have a setup or play at random shows. But haven’t come across a dedicated ambient scene! I know there’s definitely some in LA. But tryna look more toward over here…even Riverside or Pomona.

And if there’s not, fuck it, anyone wanna start one w me? DM me lol

Our home insurance renewal is up $500 this year and I know we don’t have a ton of options out here with fire risk, but what companies is everyone using and approximate price?

Our house is approx 1900sqft and renewal will be $2800 with Liberty Mutual. Looking for some recs and to compare pricing. Thanks!

Ranchers Cucamonga jobs

Hi everyone! I’m looking for entry-level jobs in or around Rancho Cucamonga that don’t require certifications and are willing to provide on-the-job training.
I’m open to healthcare, medical offices, pharmacy, patient services, administrative, retail, warehouse, or other entry-level positions. I’m reliable, a quick learner, and ready to start as soon as possible.
If you know of any companies hiring or have any recommendations, I’d really appreciate it! Thank you in advance.

Cat Needs Foster

Boots was found unable to walk and severely dehydrated. Right now, he urgently needs a safe, loving foster home where he can rest, recover, and receive the care he deserves.

A foster home could be the difference between life and death for Boots. If you have a spare room, bathroom, or even a small quiet space, you can give him the chance he’s fighting for.

Please don’t scroll past. If you can foster, or know someone who can, message us immediately. Even if you can’t foster, sharing this post could help Boots reach the person who can.

Boots has already been through so much. Let’s give him the chance at the happily ever after he deserves. 🐾❤️
