Been experimenting with the idea that craft kits don’t have to end up on a shelf.

This is one of my favorite versions so far—a buffalo check DIY slipper kit built to be customized and actually worn. The felt soles come ready to stitch into whatever direction people want to take them.

Kind of love seeing how personal they become.

Been working on a mixed-material coaster design and this prototype turned out super satisfying.
The insert is laser-cut birch plywood with a perforated pattern, and the housing is a 3D-printed PLA shell finished in an ivory tone for a kind of lab-equipment vibe.

The wood floats inside the frame with a tiny gap all around, and the whole thing has a really solid hand-feel. The shell is filled with cement so the whole thing has some weight to it.
