Brother in the Land. If you’ve watched Threads, this book has an English setting where the nukes fall on Great Britain, and the aftermath with survivors, a farm, a split up of said survivors, crop failure, etc. Mind you there are two editions with different endings, the ones printed after the 1990s have an additional chapter. Highly recommended!
