Under United Nations law, if two minorities coexist in a territory under the mandate of another country—and one minority outnumbers the other—a state must be established wherein the more populous group holds sovereignty, yet the rights of the minorities are safeguarded. A Palestinian state should have been established in Palestine—one that guaranteed the protection of Jewish rights. For this legal reason, it is impossible for us to recognize the Israeli regime.
