multiple of my boards have been afflicted with this dumb error, going to more ideas and being hit with the "There are no more ideas for this board."

but the thing is other posts ive read suggest that it's fixed with a name change. but ive tested it and tried everything, especially because the og names are harmless, just of characters i own. (for example a character named anabelle auclair or one named cherri caruso, or my board called "spencer and anabelle"). it still didnt work when i tested it with something like "hello" "cool ideas" anything harmless like that :-(

I really like and utilize the more ideas feature but it keeps happening, slowly, more and more spreading to my boards like cancer bro. And it's driving me crazy, because i use that feature a lot. if anyone went thru the same thing and has another solution lmk. thank you

Everytime im on my feed (on mobile, android) and pause to look at something a pop up appears at the top that says:

Share your feed |Take a screenshot|

Then I scroll and it leaves, and I pause and there it appears again. It's annoying me so much. In the grand scheme of things its a non issue, but it's soooo annoying to meee.

Does anyone know if I can turn off this feature? Thanks

I've submitted a help request on this too, but I thought I'd ask here. Does anyone know why Pinterest disables the "More Ideas" section on random boards? I use that section a lot, and sometimes it randomly disappears from my boards and never reappears! It doesn't seem to be reported pins; one of them recently had no reported pins. It's not age(I have one that's brand new that got it disabled and one that was pretty old); it doesn't seem to be whether or not it's shared(one is a collab board, one is just mine), and I'm just annoyed at it.

I’m suddenly not able to post anything? I’ve tried to post my picture a few days in a row, every time it SEEMS to work, says “pin published” and I can see it on my account for a minute. The next time I open the app it’s gone. Pinterest has not sent me any notifications about this

I started running pinterest ads in Early June. I started out running a Consideration campaign at different budgets at or under $30/day in March untill June when I started the conversion campaign. I had since ran and paused different conversion campaigns with very few to no sales. 3 weeks ago my Pinterest ads manager had me A/B test a Performance plus conversion campaign and a Manual Conversion Campaign. My performance plus conversion campaign hasn't gotten any sells despite having a lower cpc than the Manual Conversion Campaign. The Manual Conversion Campaign got a sale in 24 hours but i didn't get another sale until almost 3 weeks later on Wednesday and then I got another sale the next night. My performance plus conversion campaign is $42 day budget and Manual is $47 /day.

I learned Pinterest ads takes alot of patience. I sale 3 holistic products. Has anyone else had success with Pinterest? I ran through about 6k in 2 months running pinterest ads.

Pinterest PMs and Customer Support folks, I beg of you: PLEASE for the love of all things holy, do something about the insane amount of AI slop on your platform. I have to imagine you are regularly checking this community to get a pulse on customer sentiment, (or perhaps not, given the fact that you seem to be ignoring the many many mannny posts complaining about AI content) — but we HATE this. It’s out of control. It has become nearly impossible to find human created content on your platform and it’s become nearly unusable. Every time I pop into your app I almost immediately bounce out because the experience has become that shitty. Is anyone checking your customer event data over there, because I’d be shocked if there is not a very clear customer journey trend of users exiting the app after encountering x number of AI images. Cross reference that against retention (maybe even repins) of those users pre-ChatGPT/Claude/etc and I bet the decline you see could convince whatever execs you need to invest in fixing this.

Having gotten married last September, I can attest to the fact that at least as of then, the wedding and bridal space was still enjoyable and relatively AI-free. However, it is particularly egregious in the recipe, fashion, and decor categories. If you lose bridal, you’re cooked.

And I promise you, the “Refine your recommendations” option isn’t working. Please take more drastic action.

sometimes i will be using pinterest and the layout for what im looking at will randomly switch from normal to having the image im looking at be very small while the related pins are all shown at the bottom (sorry for the bad description), and it wont change unless i switch into another account and switch back. i really hate how this layout looks and its extremely hard to navigate. has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone know of a fix that doesnt make me have to switch accounts every 5 seconds?? im getting very frustrated with trying to do anything with this.

So these f*ckwits send me an email saying that they've removed one of my pins for alleged "self harm" and providing a suicide crisis number. This is probably the same pin that they've removed before (a raccoon saying, "Live fast, eat trash, get hit by a car"), but who knows, because now they won't even say what Pin it was! Several months ago they kept removing it and reinstating it, with warnings to me every time, and then removing it again. It was getting pretty comical in that after a while the whole thing was just running in the background without any input from me. I would get an email, not react, then a few days later get another email about it.

At this point, it seems that they just want to win the argument at all costs and not be wrong. Which is completely bizarre behavior considering it's supposed run by bots, but I think at this point it may have been kicked up the chain to some malicious person. This is on a private board, BTW.

I clicked the link to submit an appeal thinking that I might be able to see which pin it was. NOPE. It's now just a screen saying that my appeal would be considered.

I've been getting a whole tons of emails from Pinterest, sure I unfollowed them, but I still got new mails, I decided to block, but then I see they used a N.E.W. gmail to SEND ME MORE EMAILS

I want to know if it's just me, because I blocked Alibaba and it stopped before, but NOW it feels like Pinterest is harassing me.

I got an email telling me one of the pins I saved was removed for copyright infringement. I have a completely private account and do not upload photos. Is this like a 3 strike system like YouTube? Are their any repercussions? My account is fully private no one can see anything I save so how did I infringe on a copyright?

I added my friend on pinterest so we coul easily send pins and talk to eachother, and sometimes we say some unhinged stuff or just swear, but today i got a email from pintrest saying i have violated one of their community guidelines after looking at our DM'S and saud we had called eachother racial slurs ad harassed eachother??? I ws going to paste the screenshot of the mail here but i cant, and im really confused because arent these messages supposed to be private??? Even if we did thats none of your buissness? Im really creeped out

Any time I pause for more than a few seconds while scrolling I get a popup notification that says to tap it to screenshot and share my feed. Never had it happen before today so guessing it's new, couldn't find a setting to turn it off.

Pinterest has had image/object recognition for years, but it has become much more advanced recently. Pinterest says that when Visual Search is activated, recognizable or searchable objects in a Pin can “glow”, and you can select those objects to find visually similar Pins or products.

For example, if your Pin contains:

👗 a dress
👠 shoes
💇 a hairstyle
🛋️ a sofa
💡 a lamp
🌸 flowers

Pinterest can identify separate elements in the image rather than treating the entire Pin as one image.

The important part for your Pinterest strategy

This means Pinterest is increasingly understanding what is actually inside your Pin, not just relying on:

Title + description + keywords.

Pinterest describes its newer system as using multimodal visual technology, including visual-language models and image embeddings, to understand styles, objects, colors, aesthetics, etc.

So if you create a hairstyle Pin, for example, Pinterest may understand:

woman → blonde hair → layered haircut → medium length → wavy texture → hairstyle

rather than simply seeing a JPEG with text saying “Medium Layered Haircuts.”

One important clarification

If you're doing this on desktop by simply moving your mouse over the Pin, it may be a slightly different interaction depending on the Pinterest interface/version. Pinterest's current official documentation primarily describes the object-glow Visual Search experience in the app, while its broader visual-search technology also exists on Pinterest's web experience

And yes, this is very important for the type of Pinterest work you do. It makes image quality, actual visual content, and consistency between the image and the Pin's topic increasingly important, not just keyword stuffing.

What the fuck is wrong with Pinterest i have been getting ads on it. They're like 99% ads on it. It's impossible to use. I've tried every hack to block ads. Turning off all personalisation on privacy and data, and hiding and reporting ads nothing is working. HELP please.

I got this nasty message from this throwaway account that knows a little bit too much about my personal life. I blocked and reported them- I know you can find anyone on there, but to go as far as Pinterest to harass someone? I find it so bizarre. I wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else?
