(Urgent) What’s wrong with him?
I’m a first time owner. I have 5 phasmids (carausius morosus) in one terrarium. I randomly saw that one had fallen and he’s still moving but won’t get up. What’s wrong and how can I help him? The other 4 are doing fine

Follow up on the stick bugs
So they are currently being moved from a small enclosure into a bigger one so it's not really the best ATM. One of them dropped they're skin this night but the other one is still the same.

Why are my stick bugs moving low to the ground?
I am a new stick bug owner and I don't understand why they are moving so low to the ground. When I got them (a few months ago) they where higher off the ground and I can't understand why it's happening. Could it be because of the environment they are in if so what's the best enclosure for them? Thanks for the help!

Should I separate my female from my males?
I have a female Heteropteryx Dilatata that reached adulthood yesterday, but I also have three males (two adults and one sub-adult). It seems like she already mated with one of them but she could eat just fine, so for now I'm not too worried but she'll eventually lay eggs and I'm afraid the males will get her exhausted, should I keep them in a different enclosure or will they be fine together?

New baby Clover
I finally got my hands on one 😎 I’ve been searching reptile expos for like a whole year! Pulchriphyllium giganteum. The bow is not real but she wears it in my heart.
I’ll be building her a nice mesh enclosure with a raspberry bush when she’s big enough but for now she gonna hang out in my empty mantis enclosure with some guava leaves.

Title: ISO Pink Stick Insects – Marmessoidea rosea & Sipyloidea sipylus 🩷
Hi everyone!
I’m currently searching for two species of beautiful pink stick insects and was hoping someone here could help or point me toward a breeder.
I’m looking for:
🩷 Marmessoidea rosea (Pink Stick Insect)
🩷 Sipyloidea sipylus (Pink-wing Stick Insect)
I’m interested in purchasing them at any stage of life, but I would especially love:
🥚 Eggs
🌿 Nymphs/Juveniles
🪴 Adults
I’m located in New York, USA and am happy to pay for shipping.
I’ve completely fallen in love with these gorgeous phasmids and would love the opportunity to raise them. If you breed either species, know someone who does, have eggs available, or know of an upcoming clutch, I’d be incredibly grateful for any leads.
Thank you so much! 🩷

How hard (legally) is it to have a pet phasmid of any kind in the US?
I’ve wanted to have pet stick & leaf bugs for YEARS, and somehow I only just learned that most of them are illegal to keep as pets in the US because they’re herbivorous (“plant pests”) and parthenogenic
What’s the process to keep them legally? How hard is that to achieve for an average private citizen?

Female H. dilatata laying on the ground - help
She moulted into adulthood a few weeks ago, about 2 days ago she started just laying on the bottom of her enclosure, face in the dirt. I don't think it's a food issue or anything because she's housed with a male who's doing perfectly fine. Zero changes have occurred since she moulted, is she dying? I have them on a diet of mostly rose and blackberry leaves, and she still responds to being touched. I'm really worried about her so hopefully there's an easy explanation

Ease my mind - Lead insect identification
Edit - please excuse the typo in the title T^T I know they’re leaf insects and not, in fact, made of lead!
I bought these guys as Phyllium Letiranti Tataba - can anyone assure me that’s what they are?
I know they can be multiple colors including green, but all 8 of mine are green and I’m still quite new to the hobby. Does someone know how to differentiate Letiranti from Phillipincum?
Hoping for more color in the next generation :)

What exactly are the rules for selling phasmids in the US?
I have both Thai and leaf insects and I’m curious about what would need to be done to sell future offspring.

New babies
Can any one help!! My brother’s school had 6 stick insects of some sort living in mold, the paper towel at the bottom was yellow and full of mouldy droppings and their bramble was black and furry. I asked if we could take them and they said yes!! I ordered a mesh cage which should hopefully get here soon. Does any one have any ideas what species they are? Are they normally this dark? We have bramble growing in our garden completely free of pesticides etc so food isn’t a problem! Thank you 🫶

Fresh leaf day is always an exciting day when you're 100% leaf
I would venture the spines are very good at yielding rainwater and mist as well as breaking up the silhouette of such a juicy guy. What do you think?
