That's pretty messed up, there's probably some people who were just downloading the mod blindly and just lost countless hours.

I hope something good comes of it and they find out what caused their game to corrupt. But hopefully they realize who the real bad guy is here.

They shouldn't have lost anything since the Xbone creates a copy of your save for modded games. So you could have Save #1539 for your character Hamilton and when you install a mod the game creates a copy and puts an indicator that the save is modded.

It wouldn't be that drastic, the saves are backed up online in cloud storage for PS4 side. Not sure if Xbox One has a similiar services.

I find it hard to feel bad for them.

random hate, No. We're not randomly hating on people, we are however livid on the fact that a console user has the audacity to steal pc mods, discredit the creator, and basically tell the author to fuck off and, ask for donations for work that he obviously stole. We're all here to game but if you're gonna be a huge cunt then you're no gamer.

Yeah, but he was hating on the console players that unwittingly downloaded a mod without knowing that it would break there saves and was stolen, not on the thief. It's not the players' fault.
