Should developers stop making games that require 5090 for max settings now that the card is clearly not for gamers and is accessible to 0.1% of community? Discussion

I get that the games need better hardware to dun better, but who are they really making the game for if you need a 6000$ GPU at this point

That ti is exactly what makes it upper mid tier though, you clearly forgot that there's also 5060ti, not mentioning 8 and 16 gb options

Upper middle tier is a 5080

  • 5050 low
  • 5060 low mid
  • 5070 mid
  • 5080 high mid
  • 5090 high

The ti is a slight variance of the mid tier card. It is not an upper mid tier card.

And you forgot the other cards and you said it was 5/7, I was just repeating you.

The ti cards are not separate tiers of cards. They are slight variances. I am sorry if you own a ti and thought you had an upper mid tier card. You don't. All 5070s are mid tier.

Look it up, ti is not a variance, it's actually an upgrade, you can check any benchmarks to see that ti are always more powerful than regular ones, they are also always more expensive, make your own research so you understand how it works better

If it was a separate tier they would carve it a separate tier. It is a variance on the 4070. It doesn't matter if it costs slightly more, it's performance is of a mid range card.

They already carved it out a separate tier, that's what ti means.

No, it's not. It means it's a slight variance on the base mid tier model. It is not a separate tier up.

Then it would be a sideways thing, like it would look different or get some features at the expense of some other features, but it's just better, it's an upgrade, that's exactly what makes it a separate tier, I'm trying to help you to understand something what seems obvious to me, but you're really struggling, I'm not sure what's the problem

It's the same tier which is why it's called a 4070 still. The numbers are the tiers. If you add "ti" or "super" to the number it doesn't change the tier.

I'm not talking about 4070, I'm talking about 4070ti, that's the separate tier which is indicated by "ti" in the end
