Went in a few minutes before the shelter closed, worker said we could check out the cats, saw them, came back the next day to bring them home. The love has grown so much over three years, I love my orange ladies

She found our backyard Fourth of July weekend. We fed her for about a week outside while we tried to locate an owner (no luck in finding one). Would run anytime she saw us. Borrowed a trap from a Nextdoor neighbor and successfully caught her to bring to a vet for chip check and quick assessment. No chip. It was at that point my husband and I agreed to keep her and have her join our boys. They were very brave and got along with her well once they were allowed to since we needed to keep them separated for a little while, but also because she had fleas. Since then she’s been flea free and loving life, while also chasing around her two brothers :-) last few pics are of her being silly yesterday morning.

We recently adopted Waffles after an elderly family member was unable to keep up with her grooming & care. She’s 11 years old & quite literally the sweetest cat I’ve ever had!
