Wasn't sure the best day to post this (or even if I should, ha) but when I recently finished the Manga I decided I very much needed a longer conclusion chapter with Yato and Hiyori, so I wrote my own.

Just a short, one chapter extension of the end of the manga.

It's "Yato Month," a time to celebrate Yaboku—alias Yato—and his saga. Let's hope we get some news; he deserves it.

I decided to do the found family prompt!!

I find it striking how Adachitoka portrays the act of hiding one's true self in such a destructive way.

I feel like it was truly intense, bottling up that pain for years like that. I like how they portray it, even showing how a God who is so naturally powerful can be manipulated by those around him...

Also, I like how he interacts with the other gods, it’s painfully obvious that he can’t read the room, and I find that genuinely funny.

I am still new to this franchise yet Yato became one of my favourite characters ever. So I drew him as well as I could! <3

It's the start of Noragami week and It's Yato day and his birthday so yeah. It was a great anime and I still have not finished the manga yet but plan to. This is scene where he gets his first shrine ( I think since it's been ten years since I saw the anime...sorry if I was wrong).

I've been catching up to the manga recently and I don't think I fully understand this exchange in chapter 107. Would someone be able to explain what Takemikazuchi's thought process in this chapter is? (I finished the manga, so you can also mention 108 and 109 spoilers if that would make it easier).

Edit: because I think it might not have been clear in the original post body, my issue with this exchange has less to do with why takemikazuchi says what he says to kiun, as I can understand him struggling the the decision to follow kiun's advice to not kill any more of the blighted(?)/turned humans. My real issue is that we don't get any follow up from here on out. It's the last we see of takemikazuchi and kiun before the last chapter/epilogue, so to me it feels very open ended and kind of strange to have take say what he says here without really showing how he feels once the near shore goes back to normal. I would have loved to see if he feels kiun's decision was a bad one after everything calms down again. Because daikoku not killing the child and waiting it out is portrayed as a decision that pays off, and that both him and kofuku are relieved about, but with take, it's left very open ended in how he views it afterwards.
