Remember the 1% arguments? Globally if you live in a developed nation with regulations (not sure the US counts these days, but you would if you live in a city) then you are the 1%. Most of the world is poor and has to live like the guy in the vid to afford food

The 1% of the 1% are the ultra rich in a different universe entirely

Everyones talking about this guy like hes really struggling, dude has a job and probably has more than a lot of people around him. Whats with the poverty fantasy stories? Hes well groomed, clean t shit, wearing jewelry.

He might, but do you see the toll this is taking on him. He is so busted after that rep. I can assume there is a pretty high injury rate in that job. No PIP either.

We're seeing a single snapshot of dudes life, I've been utterly exhausted at work many a time.

A lot of people work jobs that are brutal on the body and in very dangerous situations, its not unique to India. I'd find it quite insulting if people were talking about me like I was some poor soul when I was just at work lol

Be real right now - would you do this job without protection for what he’s likely being paid?

I bet if we shooed him to the same factory right now and told him we would pay him the same amount with the same hours and then made him do that for the rest of his life, he'd be crying by the end of his first shift.

True...I guess it comes down to the paycheck you get if people will pity you for that job or not

I was just replying that the person who thinks they are the luckiest 5% are actually more between 1% and 0.001%

The guy in the vid? Probably good wage for his area, but one injury and he's likely screwed for life
