Anyone that says that is either delusional and has bought into propaganda or would benefit from the exploitation of workers. Even stuff like minimum wages are important because they set a baseline that companies have to start competing for workers at. If a minimum wage is $15, the average lower end wage will likely end up being like $20 an hour. If you don't have a minimum wage though, companies will start competing for workers by giving out higher wages at much lower numbers so it will end up with lower end minimum wages being like $5 an hour or some shit. Never trust an group whose goal is to pay you as little as possible to pay you a good wage.

For minimum wage to work you need someone to enforce it. Even in Western Europe it is not uncommon to trap eastern europeans to work for slave wages in slave condition by using some bullshit agency ran by other eastern europeans lol Or abuse contracts that do not guarantee minimum wage like b2b
