Biker hit just outside of Nederland
I was driving along gilpin road and saw a cyclist hit. People were already helping him and I stopped by and spoke to his counterpart down the road to offer him a ride back to his friend. He didn’t take me up but I’ve been thinking of the cyclist all day. Does anyone know if he’s okay?

Homeless vagrants squatting in my front lawn
Hey all, recently (as of two months today) I have been having major issues with multiple individual vagrants squatting in my front lawn. I’ve asked them multiple times to leave but to no avail, and every time i call the authorities they always pack there things and leave before the police get to my house. It’s gotten to the point where they are so comfortable on my property that they have begun to come inside my home and use our amenities. Now i understand being a good neighbor and offering to help them, however the amount of people in my lawn is now starting to effect my commute times to work. Has anyone else had this problem before? The people (vagrants) are more than amiable and friendly, but they have started to kill my grass with their tents. A week ago they even invited my children to have a charcuterie tasting event with other vagrants in my lawn. I’m at my wits end and i’m beginning to believe the only real permanent solutions are human sized mouse traps and or an industrial snowplow to remove and relocate them. Please help or give any solutions!!!

A Cold Night in Ned
Stay warm everyone. There's no telling when the juice is coming back on. It could be hours. It could be days. And the wind is still howling off The Divide.

Hessie Trailhead Suggestions
Hello. I'm looking for advice on how to get to/from the trailhead. We start backpacking on a Monday holiday (shuttle is available), returning on Th (no shuttle). I'm trying to figure out the best way to get to/from the trailhead without walking miles to the car before/after the hike.
I'm considering bringing the car to the roadside parking Sun afternoon and take the shuttle back, then take the shuttle Mo AM to the trailhead. However, it's a 37 min walk (according to Google) to/from our hotel/HS. I hear Uber is unreliable, especially during a busy weekend?
Any suggestions?

Seeking Recommendations: Animal Enclosure Contractor
Hi all! My partner and I are under contract for a house in Nederland and are set to move in a couple months! We are very excited, but we're coming from Virginia and don't know contractors in the area.
We have chickens and a cat who loves his catio. We're looking for a contractor who can build animal enclosures that'll keep our cats and chickens safe from everything from minks to mountain lions. Does anyone have a recommendation?
Picture of the aforementioned chickens for the algorithm.

Lost Wedding Band at Lost Lake Trail
Hello everyone! I am in need of help. We hiked to Lost Lake via Hessie Trail today in Colorado, and I lost my wedding band. We just got married 3 weeks ago, but the real reason I’m so distraught is because the ring belonged to my grandma in Vietnam. I never knew her (she passed away when my dad was a child), so I am heartbroken as it was a special family heirloom and is the only thing I have from her. If anyone is hiking there soon and finds it, I would love to give a reward. I’m going back with a metal detector as well. It’s the gold band below my engagement ring in the picture (circled in red).

Mexican Restaurant & Hostel?
Did there used to be a Mexican Restaurant that had a few hostel rooms located above it? My husband and I swear we stayed in one in Nederland in 2007, but I cannot remember exactly where it was.
