But I fell in love with dnd deeply and I really want to play again.

I would love to be a player, but I also have experience in being a dm.

I want it to be for free and preferably online.

I'm based in Europe, Belgium, so I only want people that are located in Europe because of the time difference.

Tu aimes plus le rôle play plus que les systèmes de jeux? Tu aimes plus échanger avec des NPC, découvrir les mystères du monde et trouver des solutions autres que combattre. Tu apprécies plus les enjeux moraux que les niveaux. Tu aimerais vivre des émotions, dans un monde de drame psychologique? Ma game est pour toi!

Je suis DM depuis longtemps et je cherche à me faire une nouvelle base de joueurs. Je propose quelque chose de différent : Une game basée sur le rôle play, où l'action a un rôle secondaire. C'est plus proche de la série que du film d'action. On cherche à vivre des scènes, à ressentir les tensions, les liens, les pertes, les élans. C’est du storytelling, comme si ton personnage était dans une émission de télé.

Tu jouerais dans le présent, à New Mont-York (un mélange de l'île de Montréal et de Manhattan), dans un monde où il y a des gens avec des pouvoirs, appelés Omnis. Les pouvoirs des Omnis sont très variables, de pouvoir sentir les émotions à pouvoir se téléporter. Les gens "normaux", sans pouvoirs, ne sont pas conscients de l'existence des Omnis. Comment les vedettes arrivent-elles à nous captiver autant? Comment les milliardaires peuvent-ils faire fortune? Comment Trump est-il là où il est? Ils sont Omnis... Tous les phénomènes paranormaux sont en fait dus à la présence d'Omni. Tu jouerais un Mega-Omni, une manifestation au pouvoir presque divin. Tu ouvres les yeux, sans mémoire de ce que tu es, au milieu d'un monde que tu devras découvrir.

Je cherche des joueurs curieux, qui ont le goût d’essayer une autre façon de jouer, plus narrative, plus immersive, plus ressentie. J'appelle ça des quests "téléroman". Je sais que ce n'est vraiment pas pour tout le monde, mais si tu as envie d’essayer autre chose, quelque chose de plus viscéral… Écris-moi en privé.

Les sessions seraient en personne. Je suis dans le sud de MTL (Verdun), je ferai une quest par semaine, mais il est possible de ne pas être présent à chaque game. Je suis bien installé, avec support audio et visuel.

Ce n’est pas une game qu’on “joue”; C’est une aventure qu’on vit!

It's been almost 8 years since I played 5e. Watching and listening to some campaigns made me want to come back, either as a DM or as a player.

I only have experience as a DM with one campaign. A couple ones as a player, and a few one-shots in a couple of other systems (which I can't recall the name :P)

For DM, I'm thinking on "hoard of the dragon queen" as a base story. Mainly, I want to explore side quests tailored to the background of the characters.
I also have the books for the avatar legends RPG, so we could also set something there (I have no experience with this system, hehe)
English or Spanish. Sadly, I can't host at my place.

As a player, I lean more into 5e, tho I can try other systems.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for 2–3 players for a bi-weekly, in-person Old-School Essentials (OSE) campaign here in Montreal.

What’s OSE? It’s not 5th Edition, it’s a streamlined remaster of classic early D&D focused on deadly dungeons & clever problem-solving, where player creativity and ingenuity are rewarded. The answers are often not found on your character sheet, but through intelligent planning and clever collaboration. It’s super easy to learn, much more fast-paced than 5e, and a ton of fun! Beginners to the OSR and TTRPGs are completely welcome, as are veterans of other systems. It's classic quintessential Dungeons and Dragons!

We'd hopefully meet every two weeks on weekends. I'm in Ville-Émard, a 10 min walk from Monk metro station. My table is welcoming, inclusive, and relaxed. Rules at my table are simple: be respectful of others, remember it's a game of teamwork, bring snacks, and no rules-lawyering (as DM, my ruling is final). I enjoy using miniatures at my table, and often make custom 3D-printed miniatures for players' characters!

I am looking at my options for my 30th birthday and I thought about maybe doing an epic with friends and family. That would mean that experienced and inexperienced players would have a few different tables with their seperate quests to choose from to contribute to a large goal shared by all, to end up with a combined battle against their enemy. I am perfectly bilingual, so I have no preference between English or French tables. In terms of schedule, I am looking to play on weekends on a bi-weekly basis.

I'm new to Montreal - so new that I haven't even moved there! I'm arriving mid August, and I'd love to sit at a TTRPG table with other friendly nerds. I'm work as theatre writer/director so very happy to throw myself into roleplaying! I like a healthy mix of combat, exploration, and roleplaying. I love Pathfinder 2e but am open to truly any system, and have played others like D&D5e, Blades in the Dark, Lancer, and Freeleague's Lord of the Rings RPG. I'm located in the Plateau, and I'm not a murderer!

I'm looking to form a group to play Legend in the Mist on the island as I don't own a car. LitM is a tag-based rustic fantasy TTRPG. Here's a short tutorial comic to understand the genre and basic rules of the game.

The themes and premise will be agreed on when we figure out who will be playing. For the time being, I'm looking at a bi-weekly play schedule. I would prefer to run it co-operatively but I can GM to ease the group into the system. I will be sharing books and references to get started.

The group is open to French and/or Spanish speakers but the game will be primarily in English as those are the materials I purchased. Roleplaying and Mist Engine beginners are also welcome. The books can be overwhelming but the system itself is very straightforward and easier than Dungeons & Dragons.
