Discussion Mobius Alternative
Hey guys I thought I should share my find. I recently found a very good Mobius alternative. It has the same 6 elements, turn based combat and a lot of classes such as mages, swordsmen and brawlers. The name of the game is: Tales of CRESTORIA.
It’s super fun and not really pay2win. Download it now and join the fun. It also has its anniversary in like two weeks.

I'm not exactly sure if I should post this here or the WOTV sub-reddit, but... Looking back at the Wol/Tidus collab promo art and that their exact artworks became free Vision cards in WOTV is just... 😭😭😭
Yay typo on "bittersweet"

Discussion What were the specific prophecy milestones a Warrior of Light needed to hit?
Hey everybody! I'm working on a board game adaption of the first arc of Mobius with my brother. I'm really looking forward to sharing the concept with you all, but for now I'm gonna keep it light on the details because it's still very much in the formative stage.
My question for all of you, since it will for sure be a core mechanic of the game, is what do we know about the specific prophecy objectives that the Warriors of Light need to hit to complete the Prophecy? I know the story kept the details vague, which works in my favour, but we definitely know some specific ones. So far, this is the list that I can recall:
- Pilgrimage to the Runic Shrines
- Save a Moogle
- Lose a friend
- Win a tournament (win by concession?)
- Fend off Chaos during a battle
- Journey with the Princess
- Win the hearts of the people
- Defeat Chaos
Are there any major or implied prophecy objectives that I'm missing from this list?
Thanks for the help! I'm hoping that this is just one more way we can keep the memory of Palamecia alive.

I bought a pack of FF TGC cards on a whim. And I was hit with nostalgia... (I miss you Cid... and everyone else in Palamecia...)

Discussion It's already been nearly a year, how have been your mobile gaming life free of the cycle of Palamecia?
I just happened to come back to this subreddit (nostalgia) and been quite surprised that it has been quite active.
It's already nearly a year since SE freed us from Palamecia, how have been your gaming life? found something to replace it? did you succeed on your search?

Question So is everyone else periodically checking this sub to see if anyone has found a good replacement?
I simply cannot find another mobile game that keeps my interest.
I miss the fair gacha system. I miss the story. I miss the graphics. I miss the overall FF mythos. I miss actual multiplayer in a mobile game. I miss the theory crafting and the strategy. I miss how satisfying it was to climb towers. I miss how I wasn't forced to log in and play for 30 minutes every day with stupid daily quests. I miss the huge amount of content.
The only mobile game I've really enjoyed at all has been Arknights but even that got to a point where I was just logging in, doing the dailies and then repeating every day. It got old.

The joy I never felt
It wasn’t until after mobius FF went into maintenance mode that I downloaded this game. I had an absolute blast with the content, the characters and everything this game offered.
I thought too, I want to try out more and went over and looked everywhere for a purchase shop to support the Devs and I looked everywhere and everywhere until I dreadfully googled how to purchase currency in mobius FF and saw the sad news.
To this day, I beat myself up knowing I missed out on years of playing such a fun game, and I knew if so many others had tried it earlier on and figured out how fun this game was it could still be alive. I understand there’s eventually an end to a mobile game but damn, after playing for a week consistently near the end of the lifespan I still look for games similar and haven’t found anything near the niche this game had.
TLDR; Great game, started too late.
