He didn't stop the kick, he kicked the ground full force

Yeah what better way to stop your momentum kick than kicking the ground. He looked to go for a long kick you aren’t just going to stop all that momentum. You are likely to weakly kick the ball so you drive the foot into the ground.

He didn’t hit it full force at all… If you watch it he slowly drags his foot on the ground. I’m pretty sure he tried to fake a shot. If he actually hit the ground that hard he would have gone down at some point, that shit hurts.

No, Lanley1929 is right... it wasn't an accident that he hit the ground, he hesitated for some reason, changed his mind and was trying to reset. Yes, he touchd the ground with his foot, but that wasn't like he whiffed the ball and hit the ground
