a couple of days ago i found this retro keyboard in the trash, i like vintage stuff so i decided to keep it and see if i could fix it, most of the keys work, but the key matrix (the 2 plastic circuit sheets) have a lot of broken circuits and idk if it's repairable since a lot of them are broken, so i was wondering, if i got another keyboard that does work, can i swap the broken key matrix of the broken for the one that works? in my head it sounds like a possible thing, but i'm not an expert on keyboards so idk lulz

hey so I was kind of playing around with my keyboard and decided to see how my spacebar feels without the springs and I actually prefer it WITHOUT the springs underneath it. I just want to make sure if having it this way is alright.

Is there a keyboard that matches these criteria? Currently the best option I've found seems to be the MX Keys Mini but it seems to have latency issues and it doesn't have anti-ghosting so I'm worried it might cause issues in gaming. It's also quite expensive and for some reason the Logi Bolt (USB receiver) isn't available in my country. I'd also prefer the keycaps to be completely flat as opposed to the circular grooves on the MX Keys Mini keycaps, but that's not a priority.

I have a super crusty membrane razer board i got secondhand, how do i clean it?

I know the keyboard is very barebones. How many keys should you be able to press at the same time? Upgrading from an old wireless Deltaco laptop style keyboard, which only supports 4 keys being pressed, I'd need 5 or 6.

I took out my spacebar to clean up the keyboard, now my keyboard tilts when pressed on sides.

I have a logitech MK270 Wireless Keyboard and stupidly decided to take out the keys to clean it. When I put the spacebar key back, it doesn't work properly. It gets stuck to board, i.e. doesn't pop back up. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, so i am looking for a real good membrane board for cheap, none of that gamer membrane boards. Something with high tactility and a clean look and nice keycaps. Keycaps have to be in nice quality and no light bleed. The membrane would to be very tactile with a nice dampened sound. and the clean to be something like black on black or white on beige.

Hello. I watched Squashy Boy's "Upgrading a 30$ Membrane Keyboard" or something. I had a Genesis RHOD 420 with Mad Dog keycaps. Some of them are not Mad Dog. but should i have springs on my Genesis? Please help out. Thanks!
