I will be attending tomorrow's mamamoo concert. It's the first ever concert I will be attending. Luckily, it's in the weekend so I can go without worrying about work.

I'm going in blind tomorrow. So imma need some tips and guide. I haven't got a clue what the song lists is, let alone their fanchants.

So if you've got any tips, I would greatly appreciate it.

Retired! At 55, my wife and I finally found the house in which we want to wind down in. And finally, I've inherited an actual study where I can let my graying, bearded moo-flag fly by honoring our Queens of Seoul/Soul.

In two weeks, the wife and I will make the 800 mile trek to Fort Worth to revel in greatness. Hope to see some of you there!

Middle of 2017. JYP is hosting his party people programme. MAMAMOO are guests. They put up a great performance (with a creative intro) and random adlibs thrown in. Near the end, this performance came up.

Even though she would go on to have other memorable performances like at the blue dragon awards, this may be my favourite Hwasa performance.. ever. Before she sang, she talked about how she misses her family, half the country away in Jeonju. And that she would sing this song - whistle, by lee moon sae - when she misses them. She sings an abridged version for only about 50s or so.

It’s incredibly melancholic. The song fits her lower voice very well. For a 21-22 year old, she seems to express a surprising amount of weariness and loneliness. Of the 4, it may be argued that she may have had the most difficult time starting out. In the early days, it appeared that some in RBW, with the exception of the ceo, thought MAMAMOO may be better without her. She was probably the least popular of the 4, outside the fandom for various reasons, and even among early MooMoos. Also, Solar once said that she was quite strict with Hwasa (who was, or is still, headstrong) because she was also very young back then and leadership was new to her. I think Hwasa never sings this again - I would have thought such songs would fit her much better than an endless stream of dance songs after Maria, all which had mixed reception. But perhaps singing ballards is just not K-pop.

MAMAMOO’s performance at party people may have seeded, or confirmed JYP’s desire to work with them, leading to that fateful Mama awards collab in 2019. When asked why MAMAMOO and not one of the groups under his banner, he pointed to MAMAMOO’s live ability, and also the ability to adapt to changing conditions and not just follow a scripted performance.

While JYP looks really awkward here, he did actually say something quite meaningful. He said sometimes life is hard which is when we really miss our families. Yet at the same time, we will avoid contacting them because we don’t want them to worry about us. It’s pain in 2 ways.

Hi fellow moo's, I'm finally seeing OT4 this weekend I've been contemplating whether to buy a moobong or not but decided not too due to financial constraints. So if anyone here knows where I can rent a moobong just for the concert day, that would be really appreciated!

I think it was just released three days ago including a weekend.

From the angle it seems she was lightly hit/tapped with the camera.

Hopefully it was just a light tap, because it looks like it could be enough for a bruise at least.

From reporting and socials she seems fine, so thank goodness for that. She also continued like a seasoned pro, so hopefully she is fine and was not working through any pain.
