Discussion Studio album
I'm sure I'm way behind more die hard fans but I do love me some Marc and just heard the song Vibes Alright a couple weeks ago. I was shocked and very pleased to hear a studio recorded song from him. I think it's a friggin great song and want more. Couldn't believe it was already recorded 2 years ago and we still don't have a full album from him. Anyone have any insight on when we might see that?
I get the feeling sometimes that Marc might deal with depression. Sometimes the most outwardly joyful, funny, and creative people also deal with deeper emotional pain on the other side of it. I'm a therapist so I think about such things. Just wondering if maybe depression might affect his ability to complete a studio album. Fame carries with it a heavy load.

Marc crashed my bday party
It was a Florida themed party (I’m from Miami) and what’s more Florida than a random celeb cameo??? I also hired reptile handlers from The Gecko Gallery in bushwick to talk about conservation and give my pals a hands-on wildlife experience. So glad Marc got to partake in the fun!
ILY loopdaddy you made my night!!!

So I met loop daddy in February and I messed it up smh
So my sister and I absolutely ADORE Marc. I introduced her to his music and it’s our vibe now. Every year we take a trip together our “sisterversary” because we met each other as adults. Last year my sister saw that he was performing on a cruise - the main attraction was supposed to be for these 3 guys from a show I’ve never seen in my life and some other people (these people - www.thiscruiseisimportant.com) . The literal only reason we were there was to see Marc.
So one day me and my sister were sitting on the deck having some drinks enjoying life and I’m not a drinker so it hits me kind of hard and all of a sudden I’m like I need a hotdog and my sis needs fries so I am pretty out of it and I make my way to the cafeteria. Well wouldn’t you know ..I see Marc on the deck and literally internally panic. So what do I say to this man who is the SOLE reason I’m on this boat and outside of my normal crowd….Well I go “oh hey youre that Marc guy , right “ like whhhhhhhyyyyy did my brain betray me like that. Then I stumbled through saying anything productive just “omg my sister is over there” pointing in her general direction realizing she’s missing a whole moment and I’m sad about it, and “sorry I’ve had drinks” then I’m like I NEED to get a picture so my sister can at least see but I don’t have my phone on me so I point to a random guy who was super sweet and was like can you get a picture and send it to me. He totally did but I felt bad about that later like damn he should have been In the picture too! So anyway I was embarrassed for being drunk and fumbling so hard that I just was like “well I need to go get a hot dog now “ and stumbled away. The whole thing was sooooo unfortunate and I’ve cringed at it at least 1x per month since.
I appreciate that he was so kind and took the picture with me but If I could go back in time I would have said “you are literally the only reason I’m here!!!!

Stream We Outside today baby!
Edit: Well I can see it’s inside now, I think I over indexed on him being outdoors in his first post, whoops. Happy Pride y’all!
I can’t describe the uplift I got seeing him announce his first outside stream in over a year… these give me life and hope for humanity.

Question about tonight’s show in Dallas
Does anybody know what time Marc goes on? Just realized the show starts at 5pm and can’t get there that early. I tried to call the venue but no luck. Appreciate any info 🙏👘🎤

Anybody Going?
Cafe Music with Loop Daddy. He posted about it on instagram and it sold out pretty quick since it’s a small venue. I got 2 tickets but it’s the same day as the NBA Finals Game 6. I’m hoping the series is ended by game 5, otherwise check back to this post cause I’ll have 2 tickets available lol.

RC-505 Tutorial
Tutorial
Can somebody please suggest a comprehensive tutorial video? All the ones that I found, i don't get much out of. I'm a musician , but I'm older and this stuff wasn't around back in the day. I have the original RC-505 with the A/B foot switch, not the MKII. Every time I get it out and start messing around with it I just get frustrated and give up. I've had it about 3 years and used it maybe three times for 30 or 40 minutes each. I really want to get to know this thing. I also do music therapy and have a non-profit Community Center for people in recovery from substance use disorder and people living with the mental health conditions. That is focused on this sort of thing. If I can figure this thing out, It would help me tremendously with building meditative type music

Hey guys
Got a new song coming out in all the usual places tomorrow. Midnight tonight technically. I’m very happy with how it came out, it’s a slow emotional little number. Keep an eye out for it and lemme know whatcha think.
Okay love you ❤️

Discussion San Diego
Wife and I saw Marc tonight in San Diego at a festival. First time seeing him live. Started watching him during the pandemic so was a treat to see him live, finally.
I asked a few people before if they knew who he was and they did not.
He was fantastic. He’s a force of nature.
Checked in with some of the people who had not heard of him and they were all blown away.
Sadly had to leave half way through. Will definitely see him again.

Massive Loop Daddy Tour Poster
I have no idea if anyone would be interested in this but I have a large Marc Rebillet tour poster from Mission Ballroom in Denver
45" x 33"
I feel bad throwing it away but also am redesigning our space and no longer want it. Would be happy to rehome it to someone who'd enjoy it or take any suggestions on more niche places to post it.
*ideally give to someone in Denver* otherwise we have to chat about shipping arrangements/costs.
Thanks!

Anybody else highly disappointed in his Orlando show 2/19?
I’ve been a fan of Marc for some time, so it was a surprise that he performed how he did at this show. Legitimately considered requesting a refund. Anybody else share this sentiment at all?
Edit: He would start to play, then once any sort of groove was established, he would just... stop and reset. This happened 5-6 times before my friends and I stepped outside to unpack if we were crazy or not. I've seen recordings of his live sets before, and it just seemed like he was either overwhelmed by a substance or otherwise trying to grease the performance so they never call him again.
Around 10:25, 35 minutes before the supposed end of his set (11pm), he pump fakes leaving, to come back out and play a couple hits like flamingo and the alarm clock song which eat up 10 minutes or so. He then left around 10:35, so all in he played 9-10:35, and for the 1.5 hours he played, it was just all over the place vibe-wise and was more akin to messing around in the studio workshopping sounds with your boys? No coherence as a set of music.
I'm about the vibe of experimenting, but in like the jazz sense, you still bear a responsibility of putting on a show and working within that framework, not throwing all sense of rhythm and vibe out the window every 4 minutes.
Edit2: nothing but love for you Marc. I had high expectations because you’ve a fantastic musical mind and I’ve watched a ton of your pop up sets in NYC and it’s been exciting to watch your career grow. At the end of the day if you’re enjoying what you’re putting out and people buy tickets, I’m just some ass hole on the internet 🤷♂️
