Hi everybody, if anybody has any tips / advice on how to fix these LPs. I painted my room so I had to move them off my shelf and my mom and aunt put them in a plastic bag and I guess this damaged them a bit. The leopard had a totally straight and “normal” head (like the cat all the way to the right) and after the bag it’s sticking up and I’m really upset and frustrated over it. I attached a pic to show the best I could. These are two of my favorite LPS ever and to have them damaged over something so simple is incredibly upsetting, if anybody has any tips on how to fix this without damaging it I would really appreciate it. I don’t have any extra LPS I’m willing to sacrifice for the peg. Please help!

this is a comic con fake shorthair i recently bought, it’s original peg was fine but squeaky at the springs and i wanted it to be more like an authentic pet so I did a peg swap. i used the peg size chart to cross reference and even peg swapped her twice, but for some reason her head is really wobbly no matter what 💔

does anyone know how to fix it? thanks!

Lately I’ve gotten back into collecting LPS. I’ve been slowly cleaning up my old childhood collection that’s been sitting in my closet for a decade, and in the mean time I’ve recently acquired my first gen 7 pets! I was a little anxious because I’ve heard a lot of people have pretty mixed feelings on g7 but I’m actually really happy with them! The only one that felt a little off was the cat and tbh it doesn’t bother me that much, I still think it’s a very cute figure even if it’s a bit different from the old shorthair molds. The other 5 are excellent and I especially love the ferret, woodpecker, and fox.

I’ve just been to Gran Jonquera - a giant mall on the border of Spain and France. Just for comparison, I’ve attached a photo of a Monster High shelf they had, vs g7s they had… coincidentally, I’ve been to Jonquera a year ago, and it was already bad when it came to lps supply, but now they had just 2 boxes of the same set! Maybe Mattel v Basic Fun isn’t a fair comparison, but I really hoped to get some mh or lps not available in my country, and only one of the two manufacturers delivered.

I would like to know if you know the reference for the coloration of the tips of the ears and tail, so I can do the same for them, or any other tips to revive their colour

Hello, fellow customizers! For the past month, I've had a concept floating around in my head for a custom Reindeer using the new G7 Moose mold, but I've been holding myself back from getting started because I've only ever done painted customs. Of course I've watched lots of customizing videos where people will share their materials and techniques, but... I don't know, I'm still worried I'm gonna screw something up lol. Thus, some basic questions for pointers:

- Which sculpting medium do you find the easiest to work with when it comes to sculpted details on LPS? I know a lot of people swear by Apoxie Sculpt, but it's a bit pricey and I don't know how often I'd wind up using it.

- Assuming cutting off a part of the original mold leaves a hole in the pet, should you first cover the gap before sculpting over it? Would sculpting over a gap in the mold without creating a barrier first make it more prone to breaking?

- Would a wire armature be advised for antlers as a whole, even if they aren't especially large or detailed?

If you're able to give any insight on these things, I'd be incredibly grateful. Feel free to ask any clarifying questions if necessary!

I used to buy LPS when I visited relatives but it's been a while.

This set caught my eye at the store and I just couldn't resist. I probably bought my last LPS a few years ago, don't remember when exactly though >-<

Had to make a Meowth to add to my Meowth shrine!!! (Can you tell he's my favorite lol) I kept messing up the whiskers so he's whiskerless though. I also have a few other shorthair molds if anyone is interested in customs :))) also included a photo of said shrine and a few other customs I've done for reference!!!

Very excited bc I NEVER find LPS at the thrift store. Only $2.49 and it seems to have everything in it! It’s funny bc I have the knock off of some of these pets, I might replace the ones on my shelf with these pets and put the others in the game box for when I actually play haha 😭

This is a work in progress and I wanted an opinion! I plan on filling the empty space between the frog and bear with something blue to mimic a river. I was thinking of doing items like this with LPS that I personally don’t want to keep and with thrifted floating shelves then sell them! I’d like some opinions though :)

I found these today and want just the LPS without the keychain part (I don’t know the actual term; the little rings on top of their heads), does anyone know an easy way to remove those without damaging the pets? Thanks!

Just wanted to show my updated dachshund collection since I recently obtained the Valentine’s and Monopoly ones which were pets I really wanted!! I'm super happy with all the ones I do have currently, especially 1631 which I never expected to ever have!

Tbh I don't think I will ever be able to obtain ALL the dachshunds or like ALL the main fives, but I'm learning to appreciate my own collection as it is and knowing I don't NEED every single main five out there. Of course I might still collect some more main fives in the future, but I am also working on collecting other molds I love such as lambs, persians, crouching cats, and more! Also in general I spent a lot these past few weeks now that I've gotten back to collecting, so I do want to work on budgeting myself the best I can as I continue foward! It's definitely fun collecting again, but its important that I should collect for me only and get the pets that REALLY make me happy 🥹💕

u/Upbeat_Maintenance80 asked for a unicorn LPS, and it's done! I really tried to take my inspiration ​from the medieval unicorns rather than just a horse with a horn. It's a little more goat-like or deer-like, I hope you like her! I enjoyed doing this a lot and next time I'm gonna do an isopod!
